Press "Number Lock" key, then hold down the ALT key while keying in 0191 on the numeric key pad on the right to get ¿. If it doesn;t work, press the "Number Lock" key again and retry.

I guess their computers are stuck on this webpage and thread! No, their brains BELIEVE the thread title that implies this is the place to come for live war news. If y'all would just tell them where to find the news, then the issue would drop immediately. I know because that is exactly what happened for me when I was frustrated with not being able to find the news on THIS thread. I had no idea there were better places on Free Republic's website to find what I was looking for.
Here is what has really happened here, over and over again:
A frustrated person posts "I can't sift through all this crap to find the news. Isn't this the thread for the War news?
Many people post replies:
"You could if you were here 24/7 like the regulars."
"There are better places to find news, you loser."
"Don't tell us what to post."
"This thread is LIVE."
"Your momma!"
(I'm recommending everyone take a refresher course in Reading Comprehension and "How to get along with others." ;-)

My brother made a comment to me tonight on the phone which is true. Because the leadership of these countries and their media teach lies about America to their citizens we are forced to go kill these people. Egypt is telling their people we want to occupy Iraq and stay there.

> if this plutonium thing pans out,
> Bush must make a national address.
He's due for an address no matter what, just
because the war is "over" (or close enough).
Topics:
We found WMD.
We didn't find WMD.
UN role, if any.
Axis of Weasels role, if any.
What's next, etc.
But if the Pu thing pans out, there may be a larger
problem afoot (e.g. someone is selling the stuff to
all comers). US needs to understand that, and have a
plan in execution, before going public.

nice to know, I'm a prayer warrior myself. That is nice to know...Our loved ones need all the prayers we can gather around them.
Surprising to me that a fellow person of prayer would be the same type of person to show such open hostility to a thread filled with so many proud, joyful, honorable, conservative and strong people. These are the exact qualities I continually pray to find in my fellow man.
open hostility??
I commented on the lack of news and the juvenile postings.....how is that open hostility??
to a thread filled with so many proud, joyful, honorable, conservative and strong people.
It may surprise you to find out that there are others here that have a very personal stake in this war too.
by the way, the word of the day is WANKER, not wanking.
Excuse me for not being hip on your word du jour....
May God Bless you and those you hold dear

Greta simply eviscerated the bumbling, shifty-eyed, stuttering ambassador from Syria, as he tried to give a Clintonian defense of his country. Greta is definitely the Queen of FoxNews and she didn't give any quarter to this fool. Greta is an asset to FoxNews and an asset to the United States of America.

It's a little cliquish and rude to tell people on the public forum they're sending or receiving private mail, and does not cultivate harmony. No, it is a way to let someone know they have FReepmail because most of us don't notice the mail alert when we are busy on threads. It is a polite and helpful thing and a longstanding FR tradition.

It is tough to get at the truth when you have a bunch of liberals planting propaganda on the air waves.

Greta escaped from Wankdom when she moved to FOX.

if this information about Tikrit is correct, there is still a ways to go in this war.

In order to keep in power, these regimes rely on directing the angst of their oppressed people outwards, towards Israel, and now America
Its a vicious cycle in which the evil stay in power, the poor stay poor, and innocents are killed

Analogies always work.
Especially if you intertwine them with the actual life of the liberal.
I ask, "do you think you should have the right to send you child to any public school in the city?", and they'll usually say yes.
Most liberals, deep down, actually believe in our ideas; it just usually a matter of degree.
Say, "then what should the minimum wage be? $25 an hour?", "oh no", they say, "that's too high and would put people out of business." See, a matter of degree.
Like the joke about a guy and gal, "would you sleep with me for $1 million?" ...you probably know it.

Greta did a great job with this lying old fool.

I find it interesting that we get very little news outside Baghdad. There is a lot to do around the country.
