From the Dixie Chicks and Martin Sheen to Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, stars who speak out against President Bush and the war in Iraq are seeing repercussions.
"There's a piling on, and we're isolating people. That's just wrong," says Kevin Costner, standing up for "courageous" Bull Durham co-stars Sarandon and Robbins.

Why don't these Hollyweird types stick with what they do best?
They should keep their yaps shut if they had an ounce of common sense.
When these celeb idiots are thrown in an Iraqi jail and tortured within inches of their last breath, I'll feel sorry for them.
.
I'm sick of all of them.

Says Sarandon, "It's so ironic that we should be quote unquote liberating another country and giving them a democracy when we're telling people here if they open their mouths, they're not allowed to participate."Man, is this particular LIE becoming tedious!

"Her views on the war are her own and have nothing to do with the movie," says CBS spokeswoman Nancy Carr. And my views on the war are my own and I'll have nothing to do with your movie.

It never ceases to amaze me that these people think they can say anything, but others may not criticize them. But then of course "leftist" and "hypocrite" are synonymous, aren't they?

Boycotts are a favorite liberal tactic. I don't see they have a leg to stand on complaining about them. Hollywood does not give preferential platforms to conservatives but routinely does for liberals ("The West Wing"), and in fact Hollywood beats up on sick old conservatives like Charlton Heston ("Bowling for Columbine"). They reap what they sow.
That Hollywood is getting scared of conservative reaction is Hollywood's problem - if it wants to still air shows starring actors the audience that pays their salaries no longer wants to see, they certainly have that right. They are stupid to do it, of course, but that is up to them. Whining about "fairness" and "rights" has nothing to do with it - the government is not involved, just capitalists free to spend or not spend their money as they wish.

The actions are not piling on.
The retributive actions are individually specific ass kicking.

The Hollyweired set can't make the connection between rights and responsibilites. Just ask them about the right to keep and bear arms if proof is needed.

Poor babies.
A big mouth disconnected from the brain is a terrible thing to waste!

Just let 'em keep running off at the mouth. They're digging a hole that just gets deeper and deeper. We can only hope they'll eventually reach China...where they need to be anyway.

Sarrandon stated she is so depressed she hardly has the energy to pickett and protest Dr. Laura, John Rocker, Rush Limbaugh and Charlston Heston.

WE'VE FOUND THE QUAGMIRE.
The Hollyweird are so stuck on themselves that they think they are relevant.
