Says Sarandon, "It's so ironic that we should be quote unquote liberating another country and giving them a democracy when we're telling people here if they open their mouths, they're not allowed to participate."
Listen you phoney, if you were in some country in the mideast you would'nt even be able to open you stupid mouth. You should be thankful that you are provided the right to disagree without the fear of torture, jail and death. So with that thought in you brain, you must also know that not everbody will agree with your slanted views.
So take a deep breath, eat a cookie and relax. People will disagree with you, they have the right to do so and if you don't like the idea of that, then STFU and stop whining.

""Her views on the war are her own and have nothing to do with the movie," says CBS spokeswoman Nancy Carr." Ms. Carr -- what about CBS' ratings on this evening? Will the low ratings have anything to do with Ms. Sarandon? I think so.
Just like many people will now not pay to see a Robin Williams film (if they ever did), the same folks will turn the channel whenever they see Sarandon, Robbins, Sheen, etc.

"It's so ironic that we should be quote unquote liberating another country and giving them a democracy when we're telling people here if they open their mouths, they're not allowed to participate." Sarandon, If I could I would have you in prison. I do NOT apologize for saying so. If you knew how many times I have suffered for trying to stand up for what is RIGHT because of people like you...arrrrgh!!! I can't take this! You and your ilk do not for one moment believe in free speech. Not one bit. Liar.

We're also free to disagree with you and refuse the product you're selling. No dark area here.
And THIS ladies and gentlemen, is why the left hates Capitalism. When the people are free to choose for themselves, the power of the elites is weakened. We can choose not to support these hooligans, and it eats them up because they are sooooo much more important than us commoners. Ugh...

The interesting thing is that all these stars are feeling the repercussions on events that were planned beforehand. I'll be curious to see how this effects the offers to participate in the future. To this, the CBS comment regarding Sarandon's South Pole movie is quite telling.

Hollywood celebrities are now joining the growing chorus of voices critical of Paramount. Academy-Award-winning-actress Susan Sarandon offered her comments and a photo for the StopDrLaura.com web site. "Dr. Laura has a right to her opinion, but I think it's irresponsible of Paramount to not give equal time, at the very least, to a person with a more enlightened and contemporary perspective," Sarandon's statement said. "I'm totally against wasting the airwaves giving visibility to a person who is clearly in dire need of compassion, education, and a good shrink herself."
Payback's a bitch.

(Letter of support for Baseball HOF President Dale Petroskey) Mr. Petroskey, Thank you! Thank you for having the courage to stand up to the liberal Hollywood crowd and their blatant anti-Americanism. Many Americans feel the same way as I do, that it's about time these people are held responsible for their actions and that there are consequences for their behavior. The great thing about living in such a wonderful country like this is that both groups are well within their rights to their opinions and actions! Hard-working Americans like myself feel that the comments and actions of many of the Hollywood left have provided aid and comfort to our enemies abroad. Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon should not be welcomed at the shrine of America's pastime. You, Mr. Petroskey, did the right thing in refusing them a platform from which to preach their anti-American rhetoric. It's amusing to note the hypocricy in Mr. Robbin's statement to the press, that he feels our actions are some type of bullying tactic aimed at silencing him. In essence, Mr. Robbins seeks to prevent OUR right to speak out, to exercise OUR rights as consumers. American patriots are exercising their rights to free speech, exercising their rights as consumers to inform companies that would employ these entertainers to sell their products. We aren't buying! We will not forget their attacks on America, their siding with interests against their own country. It's time to send a message to those anti-American entertainers that seek to make a living based on earning the dollars of hard-working Americans like myself...You're Fired! You've abused your star status and now your license has been REVOKED. We do not wish to see the faces of Liberal Hollywood in our places of entertainment. This is our right as Americans. We support and thank you, Mr. Petroskey. (Forwarding to other like-minded American patriots as well) ESPN Article on HOF/Robbins Baseball HOF Contact Page--Please call or email!! People that want their voice to be heard shouldn't whine when the response they get back disagrees with them. Seems they can't get out of the way of themselves fast enough. For actors that expect people that think an actor's views reprehensible would be a patron of the actor's movies is testament to the actor's delusion. True colors showing through.

"It's so ironic that we should be quote unquote liberating another country and giving them a democracy when we're telling people here if they open their mouths, they're not allowed to participate."WRONG! People are simply saying, when you open your mouth, there are consequences depending on what you say. You are free to say anything you want but you must also be prepared to face the consequences.

Hey Susan: No one is stopping you from opening your mouth, we just choose not to listen or support you and your ilk any longer. What you gonna do about that? You want to pass a law that says we have to support you, Idiot!!!!!

"Her views on the war are her own and have nothing to do with the movie," says CBS spokeswoman Nancy Carr. That may be. But it doesn't mean we have to watch it. Miss Sarandon has created such an unappealing image for herself off-screen that it is increasingly difficult to view her in any role without that off-screen persona intruding in our minds and overshadowing her performance.
Also, while this movie may be free of her political views, it is another story when Miss Sarandon appears at events live and in person. She has established a pretty strong track record of interjecting her political views in those setttings. So an event organizer can no longer trust that she will stick to the business at hand when she shows up.
IOW, Miss Sarandon has brought this on herself.

These dopes can't figure it out that when they side with and provide aid & comfort to the enemy they get treated like the enemy. That's just the way it works.
