In case anybody has been wondering what has been going on elsewhere in Iraq.
WHERE THE TROOPS AREN'T:
* The U.S. military says it controls most of Iraq, but the truth is that military action has focused on major urban areas. Now commanders are turning their attention to other parts of the country.
Hundreds of towns simply sat out the war and remain inaccessible. Relief workers consider it a good sign that refugees are not streaming from them, but what's happening is unsure.
Marine Maj. Brad Bartelt, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, said he could not say much about what the military knew of areas outside its control because of security issues. But Bartelt did say coalition forces are relying both on scouts on the ground and tips from civilians for guidance.

is there a link ofr writtten review?).Not that I know of. I live in Arizona, though in a different city than Lori, but local news was very good about giving extensive coverage to our state losing one of its finest daughters, so that is how I came to see her brother.
Even after it was confirmed she was dead, her brother said she loved her country and said how proud they were of all the troops and their prayers would continue to be offered for them.

..Baath Party people in Baghdad.I missed Rumsfeld earlier today---Laurie Dhue just said Rumsfeld will go eventually to Iraq! But she played a clip.
Rumsfeld: "There's no question Iraq must undergo a de-Ba'athification."

Saddams's people could be hanging out in some small town we bypassed. There is a lot of work left to do.

Someone aptly said or wrote, "the left is worried about Iraq'a past while Bush is concerned with their future".
And besides, how many of the citizens were even allowed to visit those museums?
And I would think that left wing cabal would appreciate the working masses redistributing wealth.
Hypocrites!

My favorite was his answer to why the sign said, "Do not feed the children".
Reminded me of a scene in "Galaxy Quest"!
