I believe Glenn Ford was also. I think he retired as a full Colonel or general in the Guard or Reserves.

Oh, and Audie Murphy, except he did it the other way around. Soldier first, then movie star! Medal of Honor along the way with the fighting 3d Infanty Division, the division who went down the road to Ragbag!!!

I had a great uncle who went through basic training (Navy) with Henry Fonda, in 1943 I believe. Don't know if Fonda was ever deployed.

What Pat Tillman has done speaks more about the man than any sportswriter could do. The Follywood pukes who espouse and insist on their rights of "free speech" have Americans like Pat Tillman and the thousands of other soldiers/marines to thank for their priviledged lifestyles. Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon
(however-the-hell her name is spelled) and the rest of the Follywood slackers are not fit to carry their luggage, shine their boots or serve their meals. God Bless America!
