I knew ol' Bobby wasn't the type to hang himself! We had heard that from two Iranian sources, which made it questionable anyway. I'd even watch CNN if they could interview the Bobster.

Good news! Maybe he will do a stint on SNL after all. It would be interesting to see the debate between him and Mr. Rumsfeld. They both seem to like idioms and folksy words.

I read an article yesterday about that Chater guy telling what it was like to try to give a news report with his "minder" almost always present. Can you imagine the pressure on Bob? I wouldn't doubt if he had a gun pointed at him. The more outrageous he became, the more convinced I was that he was saying those things to save his life.

Is BB on a playing card?
CNN will be in Kurdistan looking this guy up. With Eason Jordan's admission of being a total incompetent, they'll be looking for a new chief in the news department.
BB may have his shortcomings, but you gotta admit, He puts it on the line and in your face.
There are no Americans within 100 miles. (CNN newsroom motto.....true, btw....they're all 'internationalists.')
LOL!

Don't blame our good ropes. Baghdad Bob's cat broke the rope 18 times with a swipe of its powerful paws. It was hungry, and Bob was just hanging around and not feeding it.

I'm sure Bob would like us to think that HE is protecting THEM.
To: TexKat
I hope it turns out that Bob doesn't have any torture or other creepy stuff on his resume. He has a bright future as a cult figure if he doesn't end up in prison.

BAGHDAD BOB LIVES! Our prayers are answered. Our entertainment needs will be met. He will appear on Letterman, Saturday Night Live, and perhaps the Fox Morning show. I wonder if he is aware of his status as a cult figure.

I think that Bob was plainly excessive to let the world know he had a minder. I think he had to do what he did. I think Bob may have an interesting story to tell about how to survive in Saddam's world and let the world know what you are having to do at the same time by exaggeration

You are probably correct. Saddam had minders on most of his thugs and had goons watching his family incase he told the truth.
