"At the time, the Clinton marriage seemed to be disintegrating and Hillary told them she'd be totally candid -- because she didn't expect to be married to Bill when the book came out. "But the Clintons are somehow keeping their marriage afloat.
I'm curious as to why they keep up the charade too. I think she keeps him around for fundraising only.

It's funny how they thought a woman, who did nothing but lie through her teeth and parrot the words "I don't recall" would spill the beans in a tell-all book, especially when the old cow is wanting back in the White House.

I think they have files on each other.

She now plans to turn the book into a sanitized version of her life, along with tips for women on how to hold it together while not tarnishing the ideals of feminism. If there is nothing to tell, then how does she have tips to "hold it together"?

My suggestion for Shrillary's book:
"It takes a naive publisher"
To: rs79bm
Hillary's too busy running ruining the Senate to write a book.

"Instead of finally revealing the truth about her marriage, it looks like Hillary's book will be a whitewash." That cements it for me. She's running for President in '04 or '08 despite all her protestations to the contrary.

If it isn't going to be a juicy book - truth or not - it won't be worth crap. If there is a breach of contract I hope S & S goes after them full tilt.

I don't think she got the entire $8 million as an advance. The publisher is obviously looking at the $2 or $3 million "up front" money as a sunk cost and wants to avoid throwing good money after bad.
It'd be great if she had to give it back, tho.

Why doesn't she just title it "Mein Kampf" and be done with it already? Sheesh... - Classic!
To: You Dirty Rats
Given who is, supposedly, writing it, I suggest the title should be:
"F You! I'm Hillary."
To: Bloody Sam Roberts
She's figured it out: If she writes the book and spills all, she'll never get elected again. If she writes the book and fills it with lies, she'll never get elected again. What's a cow from Arkansas to do?
