Great news to post. If newspapers and websites and SAT TV can get going, the folks in Iraq will have the tools that they can use to make a government.
I am a bit leery of our insistence of "democracy." That may not fit them. By that I mean, they have a long tradition of how they do things. One man = one vote might be a problem there.

I agree.
Perhaps some kind of rotating kingship/president and a large elected parliament.
As long as they set up a good baseline constitution, then make the politicians essentially innefective,they should be OK.
