Sincere thanks to everyone who bothered to visit this thread and ESPECIALLY to dansangel for her diligence in keeping after me to supply a bio. It was hard to come up with one -- I really don't like talking about myself.

To Flyer and freethehostages: Isn't Michelle Malkin great (and talk about photogenic!)? I find her articles refreshing reading. I should also qualify my rash-sounding "CLOSE THE BORDERS" statement to: "CLOSE THE BORDERS TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!" Got no argument with those who, like one of my parents, go through legal processes to obtain citizenship.
