Nashville Teenager, 13, Missing
The parents of a missing Nashville girl are pleading with the public this morning, hoping someone can help them find their daughter.
Thirteen year old Tabitha Tudors, 13, never showed up at Bailey Middle School yesterday. Her parents did not realize she was missing until she didn't come home as usual.
The Tudors say Tabitha has never skipped school. She's a good student and has no history of problems. They do not believe she ran away. She was last seen Tuesday morning heading for the bus stop.
If she has a phone, she'll call me. I'm not letting go of this phone until I hear from her. I want her back. If somebody has her, please let her come home, said Tabithas mother.
Tabitha Tudors is 13 years old. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles. She was wearing a blue shirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Anyone with information is urged to call Metro Police.

I hope TN has an Amber Alert system because it has proved itself a few times already in other states.
I pray this girl is found very soon and very safe.

I used to love to see spring and summer come, but not so much anymore, because that is when the filthy perverts come out to grab our kids. Parents, be alert!
Thank God the federal Amber Alert bill has become law!

I wish every school district had a policy of mandating that parents call the school before start of classes to notify that the student will be absent.
I remember one morning that I overslept the deadline for calling in, having been up throughout the night with my sick child. I got an earful from the school secretary.
Perhaps if more schools initiated this policy, this girl could have been reported missing much earlier.

Sent picture through e-mail. Hope it helps. May God watch over her until she's found.

Many schools do have this policy....I know, where my son went to high school, if you do not call in by a certain time, that your child will not be in school, the school, then calls you, to find out what is going on...
My cousin is an attendance officer at a school down in California....in the morning, she gets a list of all children marked absent, and she then calls all those parents, who have not called her first, reporting their childs absence...most parents just forgot to call in, or did not know they were supposed to call...and most parents are glad to see that the school keeps tabs on their children...
Still, there are always those parents who get upset with the school calling, and some parents have been outright abusive to my cousin....but my cousin just keeps doing her job, as she wants to make sure that all the children at this school are accounted for...
Its a good policy, and I also think it should be part of each schools routine...the sooner the police know a child is missing, the better the chances of getting the child back safely...

Lord,
Please protect and comfort Tabitha and expose her whereabouts to those who can help her. Weigh on the minds and consciences of any who would harm her and subject them to discomfort and alarm.
Thank you for this watch-care.

Metro Police Look at Phone Records in Search for Tabitha Tuders
The Metro Police are pleading with the public for help in finding 13 year old Tabitha Tuders.
She's been missing since Tuesday.
Shea Tomasso, 12, is one of the many people who have been questioned by the Metro Police about Tabitha's disappearance.
Tabitha was my best friend, she wasn't the type of person that would runaway, I think she got kidnapped. They asked me like did she ever come over my house. I told them, I've never been over to her house and she's never been over to mine, said Tomasso
They also asked her if she thought Tabitha had a boyfriend.
Tamasso said, I don't know if she had a boyfriend or not, but I think she did. Her and her friends, they always got on the chat lines on the phones and talked to the boys and things like that.
But Tabitha's mother, Debra Tuders finds that hard to believe.
My daughter she hardly ever talks on the phone, but when she does it's usually to 2 of her best friends. We always keep close contact with her. She doesn't go anywhere without me. She's under me all the time except for when I'm at work, said Tuders,
Still the Metro Police have subpoenaed the Tuders' phone records.
It's about the only lead they have right now since there are no confirmed sightings of Tabitha since she was reported missing on Tuesday.
I hope she comes back and they find her. Cause a lot of people are worried about her and we miss her, said Lena Baggett, Tabitha's Grandmother
There is a $5,000 reward for Tabitha's return.
Saturday morning at 8:00am, her family will meet volunteers at the Shelby Avenue Baptist Church on 10th and Shelby to start searching the area again.
A side note, Metro Police say there is a false e-mail circulating about Tabitha leaving a book bag behind and skid marks, but they say that isn't true.
