The World Tribune quoting Al Hayat is a little like Bill Clinton quoting Baghdad Bob.

[Al Hayat] quoted Pakastani military sources as saying Osama Bin Laden could have been one of the Al Qaeda leaders siezed by the United States.

To be filed in the same place as DEBKA quoting a friend of Batboy.

"The World Tribune quoting Al Hayat is a little like Bill Clinton quoting Baghdad Bob."

. . .a 'back-to-earth' bump perhaps. . .

I don't know the reliability of the World Tribune but I seriously doubt UBL will be taken alive. He's the one AQ leader that won't raise his hands in surrender like all the other self-proclaimed AQ martyrs do when cornered. Of course, this assumes that UBL is still alive.

Yes, and they could have captured Elvis. Or Judge Crater. Or Amelia Earhart. Maybe all four of them. If Judge Crater is a tenor, they've got themselves one hell of a barbershop quartet.
