Yesterday Israel observed Holocaust Remembrance Day. Each year on this day, air raid sirens sound throughout the country, marking two minutes of silence. Every Jew in Israel stops whatever they are doing and remembers the six million Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis. The streets are eerily quiet. Everywhere private cars, buses, and trucks stop and their drivers stand in silence next to their vehicles.
On this very same Holocaust Remembrance Day, the terrorist and Holocaust denier, Abu Mazen, was confirmed as the first Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority. Last June, US President George W. Bush called on the Palestinians to reject the regime of PLO Chief Arafat and to elect leaders "not compromised by terror". This has not happened. Arafat remains in the powerful position as President and reminds the world, publicly and proudly, that he is the one who chose Abu Mazen. Arafat is making it clear that he is not relinquishing any authority. In this regard, Abu Mazen himself has raised the eyebrows of senior US and Israeli officials for saying he will not travel abroad for meetings until Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat is allowed to travel. Also, the new cabinet looks almost exactly like Arafat's cabinet. One of Abu Mazen's proposed additions is that he wants a Hamas terrorist to be the new Minister of Education!
Is Abu Mazen an improvement over Arafat? Of course, not. Abu Mazen is just as much a terrorist as Arafat! They co-founded the PLO in 1964, three years before the 1967 war, and Abu Mazen has been the number two man from the very beginning. The many atrocities committed by the PLO were planned by both Arafat and his comrade in arms Abu Mazen. In fact, Abu Mazen has always been the PLO's paymaster. His job was to give financial approval to the support of all terrorist activities. In a recent interview with the Arab newspaper Alsharak Alawast on March 3, 2003, he justified the continued armed struggle, the intifada, of the Arabs against Israel.
Abu Mazen has explained in his Doctoral Dissertation from Moscow's Oriental University that it was the Zionist conspirators who created the myth of six million murdered Jews in order to force the world to accept the establishment of Israel. He has never retracted his denial of the Holocaust. It is ironic that the world applauds the appointment of Holocaust denier Abu Mazen as Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority on the same day that the Jews mourn six million of their brethren murdered in that very Holocaust.
Many are placing their new hopes on Gaza Preventive Security Service head Mohammed Dahlan. He is being presented as the man who can unify all of Arafat's Security Forces and bring order to the Palestinian Authority. This is a most strange delusion. Dahlan has presided over an ever-fortified terrorist network. Gaza, the home of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, has become a base for some the most heinous terrorist attacks unleashed against Israel.
On his watch, Mr. Dahlan permitted Gaza to become a safe haven for hundreds of fugitive terrorists fleeing Israeli forces. Among those being sheltered is his childhood friend Mohammed Dief, a leading Hamas mastermind, with the blood of scores of Israelis on his hands. Mr. Dahlan's district is the primary launching ground for the hundreds of Kessem missiles fired at Israel.
Mr. Dahlan is the primary suspect in the attack on an Israeli school bus in Kfar Darom in November 2000. As a matter of fact, the CIA is alleged to have a tape of Mr. Dahlan ordering the bombing of this school bus. Two adults were killed, and an American citizen, Rachel Asaroff, was seriously injured. A dozen children were maimed; among these were Tehilla, Yisrael, and Orit Cohen, whose limbs had to be amputated as a result of the blast. Dahlan is also protecting his friend, arch terrorist Mohammed Dief, who is responsible for the kidnapping and murder of the soldier Nachshon Wachsman. Nachshon's mother, Esther Wachsman, told me that President Clinton promised her, while standing at her son's grave, that America would never force Israel to negotiate until her son's murderer, Dief, was apprehended and punished. So much for Mr. Clinton's promises! Dahlan loyally eulogizes each terrorist under his command at their funerals, and posthumously promotes them for killing Jews (Jerusalem Post, December 20, 2000).
The shuffling around of these men of violence is being heralded as the most important new and hopeful development in the leadership of the terrorist band which the world has elevated to the status of the Palestinian Authority.
In this connection, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, I thought it appropriate to see the movie "The Pianist" which deals with the Holocaust. There is a very stark disturbing scene in that movie where the German soldiers force the Jews to perform a humiliating public dance on a street.
First, they force an old Jewish rabbi, who could hardly walk, to perform pirouettes by himself. They were so delighted with their joke that they forced everyone with a Jewish yellow star on their sleeve to dance in pairs. A tall woman with a very short man. A teenager with an elderly woman. A cripple with crutches with a toddler. The most "hilarious" moment in the eyes of the Germans was when the cripple fell to the pavement and remained lying there motionless. The rest of the Jews were then forced to dance in a circle around him. "Come on, come on," the German soldiers cried. "You have to entertain us by dancing 'the Jewish Dance'."
Yes, the Jews are now again dancing "the Jewish Dance". Our erstwhile Lion of Judah, the famous Israeli General Ariel Sharon, has agreed that the time has again arrived where Jews must humiliate themselves and dance "the Jewish Dance". Sharon has betrayed the Jewish People worldwide by agreeing to the establishment of a Palestinian state on our Land, which may mean, G-d forbid, the end of Israel as a Jewish State. Ariel Sharon has no right to make such a concession, since the great majority of Israelis are diametrically opposed to a Palestinian state. We are supposed to be a democracy, not a dictatorship, aren't we?
The Quartet is the choreographer of this forced "Jewish Dance", and the performance is billed as a Road Map to a Permanent Two-State Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.
We cannot be surprised at three members of the Quartet, Russia, the United Nations and the European Union. Anti-Semitism has increased by leaps and bounds in all of these countries. There is an article in today's Jerusalem Post, headlined "Anti-Semitism is Said On the Rise". I'm quoting from this article:
"In recent years there has been a clear shift in anti-Semitic activity from totalitarian states to western democratic ones. This trend is now defined as anti-Zionism, supposedly a more civilized and legitimate term than anti-Semitism."
The biggest disappointment, however, is the Bush administration. On the one hand, the Bush administration is dealing forcefully with the murderous Iraqi regime by not permitting any of Saddam's cronies a place in that country's hopefully democratic new government. On the other hand, with the assistance of the duplicitous Europeans, the White House is forcing Israel to accept the murderers, Arafat, Mazen and Dahlan as a new PA regime, to which Israel is now expected to give part of their own divinely promised land.
It is not only incredible, it is totally in contradiction to what this US administration has promised the world since Al Qaida and Iraq: There will be no deals with terrorists, period; much less reward them with their own independent state.
Israelis are painfully surprised that their supposed friend and ally, the United States, is part of this Quartet and endorses this Road Map. As an American citizen, I'm personally devastated that my beloved country is taking part in these evil immoral plans, which are directly against G-d's word.
Some new interesting information has just come to my attention from a media release sent out by the International Christian Zionist Center, dated April 28, 2003. Arafat and Dahlan planned a murderous attack on the motorcade that took US Secretary of State Colin Powell from Ben Gurion airport to Jerusalem in April of 2002!
In his book, "The High Cost of Peace" (Forum, Prima Publishing, California, 2002), Yossef Bodansky tells how Israel foiled this premeditated plan to kill America's top diplomat. Yet, the US State Department chose to hush it up, and asked the Israel security services that nipped the attack in the bud to also keep mum.
Who is this Yossef Bodansky? Some conspiracy nut who has nothing else to do but make up fairy tales? No Siree! He just happens to be the Director of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, and a former senior consultant to the US Department of Defense and State.
US Secretary of State Colin Powell sure is ungrateful. After the Israeli Security Service saved his life, he is as eager as ever to promote his agenda of a Palestinian State on Israeli land. It is difficult to understand why US Secretary of State Colin Powell so readily forgives his would-be assassins.
Well, what can you expect from a man who cynically pronounces that "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"?
Of course, Colin Powell knows that his State Department is also hiding from the American People their possession of a tape with Arafat's own voice ordering the murder of US Ambassador Cleo Noel and his assistant G. Curtis Moore, who were machine-gunned in Khartoum, Sudan, in February 1973. So this is just another major cover-up by the State Department.
I don't believe that many of us really understand how evil and destructive the provisions of this Road Map are. To explain the ramifications of this Road Map, we have as our guest Elyakim Haeztni, who will clarify for us what this Road Map really entails. Our second guest is Jodie Anderson, head of the Christian Zionist organization, Deborah's Battalion, who will tell us what each one of us can and must do to prevent this ungodly Road Map from being implemented.

"Dear Mr. President,
As Bible-believing Christians, as well as students of history, we are extremely concerned about your stand regarding the creation of a "Palestinian State" in the Land of Israel. Since our faith causes us to take seriously the Word of G-d, we see in the Bible very explicit directions to NOT divide the Land. In fact, it is clearly stated in Joel chapter 3, verse 2 that the nations who are guilty of dividing it will suffer under the Judgment of G-d. We have only to look at the more recent history of the British Empire, and before that the Ottoman Empire, to see what can happen when policies toward Israel and the Jews do not line up with G-d's will and Word.
For the sake of Israel and the United States, please reconsider the awesomely fearful decisions concerning Israel that are being discussed now. The repercussions could be unbelievably damning to us all.
Please consider also, Mr. President, that these so-called "Palestinians" (nomadic Arabs - the Jews were the first people called Palestinians - the Arabs only wanted to be called "Arabs") have never had a country; never ruled themselves; always lived in lands ruled by others. To say, then, that they "own land now occupied by Jews" is to believe their clever, deceptive attempt to re-invent and rewrite history. They are calling the ancient Jewish land areas of Judea and Samaria (deceptively called the "West Bank") Arab lands - not Jewish lands. As Christians, that would mean that Jesus was born in Arab Bethlehem and raised in Arab Nazareth. We all know this in not the case. Those lands are historically Jewish and have been for several thousands of years.
The sad truth is that these Arabs of the Middle East don't want an Arab state in Israel, as much as they simply want NO ISRAEL. Land for peace has never worked. The Arabs will never be satisfied.
We are praying regularly for you and your advisors that you will seek only the will of G-d concerning Israel, the "apple of His eye".

(3) to assure the safety of American citizens, the holy sites currently under the sovereignty of the State of Israel should remain under Israeli protection, and that all holy sites in the region remain open to visitors of all faiths;
(4) the Department of State should continue to warn and protect Americans overseas at holy sites and regions of historical and religious significance; and
(5) we should condemn all violence directed against holy sites.
US Diplomat Foley’s killers were Palestinians

US diplomat Lawrence Foley, murdered in Amman
Jordanian information minister Mohammad Adwan fingered Saad bin Suwied and Yasser Ibrahim as the murderers who fired eight bullets from the silenced gun that slew USAID executive Lawrence Foley outside his home in Amman on October 28. Adwan described Suwied - a Libyan who entered Jordan on a Tunisian passport and Ibrahim, a Jordanian - as al Qaeda members who were paid $68,000 for the assassination.
According to the information reaching DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources, the two assassins are not al Qaeda; they are in fact members of two Palestinian groups, who work in conjunction – the pro-Iraq Arab Liberation Front, whose leader Abu al Abbas is based in Baghdad, and the Jordanian wing of Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement. They were apprehended by Jordanian security forces in November in a sweep of the south Jordanian Islamic fundamentalist town of Ma’an. After a brief interrogation, the captured men admitted working for Palestinian groups operating in Jordan on behalf of Iraqi military intelligence.
When this information reached Arafat in Ramallah, he threatened Amman through emissaries
that if the two murderers’ Palestinian affiliation was made public, he would see to it that Jordanian Palestinian terrorists created havoc in the kingdom. The threat was effective. Security in Jordan is already shaky and Palestinian terrorism on the rise. Therefore, Jordan’s security and intelligence services advised the king and his government to fix the blame for Foley’s murder away from the Palestinians. Al Qaeda was accordingly named the culprit.
Not that the accusation held much water; Palestinian fingerprints on the crime are too blatant.
For one thing, on the day itself, October 28, a group called Shurafa al Urdun (“Nobles of Jordan”) claimed responsibility. The name comes out of the secular terminology of Arab nationalism whose values are anathema to the fundamentalist Islamic network. Furthermore, al Qaeda, unlike the Palestinians, rarely goes in for assassination; its hallmark is mass murder. One of the few exceptions made by bin Laden to this rule was the slaying of the Afghanistan Northern Alliance leader Shah Massoud, two days before the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington.
But most tellingly, Arafat himself, in his usual circular style, gave the game away in a speech he made to the Palestinian Legislative Council in Ramallah, on October 29, the day after the USAID director was gunned down in Amman. He repeatedly praised the “shurafa”, the Nobles, an expression dredged up from the old vernacular of PLO infighting which Arafat has not used for years. In his opening words, Arafat declared “the Palestinian problem is at the heart of the conscience of all the “ahrar” (the free) and the “shurafa”, the noble of whole world – Arafat’s coded means of addressing himself, as he rarely does nowadays, to the entire Palestinian people, including those living the refugee camps in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
Moreover, two weeks before Foley was murdered, his Fatah circulated a leaflet using the term “shurafa to denote the movement’s “nobles” as distinct from dubious elements.
In the past, Arafat made no secret of his antipathy for the American diplomat
. Some months ago, DEBKAfile reported USAID had been entrusted with overseeing the democratic reform process of the Palestinian government, including the overhaul of its financing and security branches in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Arafat systematically boycotted USAID and made every effort to discredit the organization over Palestinian media. Our sources now report Washington’s intention of assigning USAID to perform the same democracy-building functions in post-Saddam Iraq. Therefore, Arafat and Saddam, as often before, shared a common foe.
The Palestinian leader’s open jubilation over the assassination was the final giveaway. His complimentary though circuitous allusions to the group which carried out the assassination conveyed to his Palestinian audience in the West Bank and Jordan that further attacks on American diplomats and USAID personnel would deserve his praise.
