You know Governor Davis has been a financial disaster for California .... But he should also be recalled for policies that permit - and even promote - the murders and molestation of children, as well. And things will only get worse unless we act together, NOW ...

The recall effort launched against Governor Gray Davis is not a pie-in-the-sky dream thought up by Republicans out of vengeance. In fact, with your help it WILL become reality!
What's more, it's easier to accomplish and less expensive than winning a regular election! I'll explain in a minute. . .
But first let me tell you why I'm writing you today. It's because all the publicity about the recall effort is based on Gov. Davis' dreadful financial record. And YES, he . . .
Lied to the public about the budget crisis to get re-elected,
Lied to voters and said he wouldn't raise taxes, and
Yes, he grossly mishandled the Electric Power Crisis, making Californians' energy bills skyrocket!
But . . . these issues barely touch the malfeasance perpetrated by Gray Davis, with his abysmal MORAL failures as governor -- failures no one else, as far as I know, is telling you the truth about! In fact, there is only ONE response to Gray Davis's Clinton-style morality-busting leadership. He must be immediately recalled!
YOU SEE, GRAY DAVIS HAS INNOCENT BLOOD ON HIS HANDS. Thanks to him, abortion in California is killing a record number of children AND is more dangerous than ever to women.
Gray Davis is pandering to the pro-abortion and gay-rights lobbies like perhaps no other politician before! And he is making sure they get a sizeable portion of every one of your tax dollars! In fact, he is so repulsive that even Catholic Bishop William Weigand has publicly rebuked him!
And here's why! Just last September -- to court pro-abortion money and votes for his campaign -- Davis signed into law Senate Bill 1301, which REMOVED the requirement that only doctors can perform abortions. This bill . . .
makes abortion more dangerous to still more women, and
allows abortions right up to the point of normal birth! Nine month old, full-term babies can now be killed in the Golden State!
And THAT SAME DAY LAST SEPTEMBER Gov. Davis also signed Assembly bill 2194 mandating that ALL obstetricians and gynecologists be trained to perform abortions -- with NO objections allowed for moral or religious grounds! So much for our inalienable rights of conscience!
Just think -- while many California liberals protested the possibility of ONE life being lost in Iraq, these same people -- Gray Davis' core constituency -- INSIST that doctors be trained to murder innocent children!
That's because abortion mills have proven to be a cash cow for Gray Davis and his ilk. He WANTS babies to die so the money keeps rolling in -- even if it means forcing doctors to be trained to kill!!!
But there is a NEW form of bloodshed just legalized by Gov. Davis. . .You see, last September 22 and 23, Davis endorsed and signed TWO bills that legalize the creation of babies for research purposes.
And if Gray Davis is not stopped, then September 22nd will outdo September 11th as one of this nations worst days of infamy!
You see, one bill Davis signed authorizes unlimited cloning "for research purposes." This means that creating a live human baby to be exploited and destroyed -- like a dissected frog -- is now legal in California, thanks to Gray Davis!
Gray Davis's signature has proven to be nothing less than a death warrant -- mowing down thousands of unborn children even as you read this letter. This left wing extremist must be stopped! And the other cloning bill Davis signed specifically legalizes research using the stem cells of those murdered embryo babies!
You know, it used to be that fertilized embryos were given to childless couples who wanted to raise a child in love. Now, thanks to Gray Davis, murdered children's stem cells are for sale to any science project that wants them.
And who knows what the next step may be! Perhaps human embryos being given to California's collegians to dissect! NOTHING'S beyond possibility with this conscienceless governor!
You see, not content with authorizing the destruction of human life at a pace to make Saddam Hussein blush, Gray Davis has endorsed the creation of an "embryonic research committee," dedicated to encouraging MORE research using murdered babies!
MY FRIEND, WHEN SOMEONE WITH NO MORAL BOUNDARIES IS IN POWER, IT IS THE LEAST-POWERFUL AMONG US WHO SUFFER THE MOST.
So it should not surprise us that Gray Davis -- IN THIS CURRENT LEGISLATIVE SESSION -- is expected to sign a bill that explicitly assigns children in the foster-care system to homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, and "transgendered" foster parents! Can Davis actually think such arrangements are good for children? Is he so monomaniacal that all that matters is his overweening political ambition?
And not only that, but the bill specifically approves -- as parents -- those who are already infected with HIV/AIDS!
But wait -- that's not the end! Because the bill also FORBIDS any foster parent from telling a child that homosexual sex is morally wrong! So no more Biblical convictions, no more Constitutionally-protected free exercise of religion allowed -- not among foster parents -- anywhere in California!
You see, Gray Davis has no qualms about exposing children to sexual molestation, or to attacking freedom of speech and religion as long as he and his legislative buddies can get their coffers filled with coin!
That's apparently all that matters to this sick, power-driven man!
And speaking of endorsing immoral lifestyles, consider how Gray Davis signed Assembly Bill 2216, which says unmarried homosexual partners get to inherit one another's possessions -- even WITHOUT a written will! So if the deceased had a homosexual partner, the rights or needs of blood relatives are now irrelevant! So families who, with great compassion, cared for a brother or son or daughter with AIDS are just out of luck as far as any inheritance goes! No, thanks to Gray Davis, the "partner of the moment" walks off with the cash, presumably after a contribution to Gov. Davis' political PAC!
And this blatantly pro-homosexual precedent ensures that other pending policy disasters will become law unless Gov. Davis is recalled from office!
For example, there's Assembly Bill 17. This dreadful bill will REQUIRE every state agency to ONLY do business with companies that offer all the same benefits to homosexual "domestic partners" as they do to married couples.
This means that at a time of unparalleled budget crisis, our state will only accept HIGHER bids that cover the HIGHER costs of companies with "domestic partner" benefits! This makes no sense, but it will fill the war chest for Gray Davis and his political buddies.
Some other "goodies" we can look forward to if Gray Davis continues as governor include legal-equivalent-of-marriage status for homosexual "partners" and a new law REQUIRING businesses to hire transsexuals.
And this pernicious "transsexual" bill applies equally to religious entities like Christian hospitals, bookstores, or anything else classified as a "business."
So imagine your elderly parent in a Catholic or Baptist hospital -- being cared for by a male nurse in drag. Appalling as it sounds, that's what this bill would authorize! But we CAN stop it! We can RECALL GRAY DAVIS.
Because, you see, if he's not recalled, you can count on "Gay Gray" Davis to happily sign this bill, clobbering businesses and robbing freedom from moral conservatives, because he's too indebted to homosexual-lesbian-transgender groups to oppose it!
The fact is, Gray Davis will never oppose any pro-abortion bill. He will NEVER protect innocent life. He will NEVER protect foster children from sexual exploitation. Because he owes his narrow reelection to the backing of abortionists and homosexual activists, and their political cronies in the legislature.
AND THE WORST OF IT IS, HE MAY RUN FOR PRESIDENT. And please don't say "he could never get elected." That's what people said about Bill Clinton! And Gray Davis is the same kind of politician as Bill Clinton. Gray Davis has no morality, and he's totally owned -- lock, stock, and barrel -- by the radical left.
Let's stop him dead in his tracks. Let's make his political future a big zero. Let's show him that Californians have had enough and we're not going to take it any more.
And I've STILL just scratched the surface of Gray Davis' indifference to the harm he does!
For instance, you may remember his determination to keep spending $4 BILLION a year to educate ILLEGAL aliens in California schools, despite the increase in teachers' work loads and the lowering of the quality of instruction for all other students.

You know, Gray Davis' cronies and sycophants are laughing at this recall effort because "it would cost 1 or 2 million dollars and they'll never raise it."
My friend, do you know how CHEAP that is, compared to a regular governors campaign?
You see, all we have to do is get signatures from less than 900,000 California voters -- just 12% of those who voted in the last election -- and there will be a special election to recall Gray Davis.
And to replace him, the SAME ballot that recalls him will have a list of candidates. The winner will be the one with the most votes, whether or not he or she has a majority!
And you can guess who will be most motivated to get out and vote in that special election -- the ones who've called for Davis' recall!

NewsWithViews.comCalifornia is facing a series of reality checks that could/would lead to catastrophic results.
Many in other parts of the country say, “So what? The land of fruits and nuts deserves whatever they get.” However, despite the regional immediacy, the success or failure of California WILL impact significantly on the rest of the country.
Faced with a $36-Billion budget deficit of it’s own making liberal California Democrats have positioned the state for a personification of “payback is a bitch”. Unfortunately it will be Californians who will be paying and paying and paying….
If the two-year shortfall reaches Davis' new predictions, it will eclipse the largest ever experienced in California. Davis started his first two years in office with multibillion-dollar surpluses…a distant memory that will remain an unrequited erotic dream.
Despite democratic denial, the imperative that has sparked a proposed $20.7 billion in budget cuts (including $4.5 billion to education) and an inevitable avalanche of new taxes shallowly disguised, as “fees and assessments” is a product of their own making.
Davis has pitched a 1-cent sales tax increase. Hey, come on, it’s only a penny? That penny would raise about $4.5 billion and would cost the typical family about $200 to $250 a year. But that isn’t nearly enough. The governor also called for increasing income taxes for the state's top earners and a $1.10 per pack cigarette tax hike.
Tax and spend democrats (who control the governors office and the legislature) have been enabled by liberal left over flower children in Armani in the high population centers of the state.
All one needs to do is revisit the Election 2002 map of Red and Blue [http://www.geoffmetcalf.com/votemap_20001116.html]. Gore won California because of San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Bay area.
Those metroplexes have the highest population density in the state and they invariably lean way left. The bulk of California’s land mass showed red on that election results map.
The reality is more gross numbers of Californians ARE liberal. However those gross numbers come from high population density quagmires of goo-goo leftist liberalism.
So in once sense California deserves the government they have elected. The only caveat might be that invariably the democrats who DO get elected in California are far more liberal (and rabid) than the constituencies that elect them.
I have too often noted that there are consequences to the things we do and don’t do. California is about to realize a host of negative consequences to their penchant for enabling extreme liberal democrats.
Liberal democrats have literally been ‘enabled’ by four myopic special interest groups with lots of money.
1. The Hollywood crowd with more money and media access than good sense.
2. The middle-aged former flower children and Woodstock pilgrims who are now ruling fiefdoms in Sacramento.
3. The unbridled immigration advocates who have successfully skewed the states demographics on the road to Azatlan.
4. The homosexual activists who defy reason with noise and money.
As Davis (and his successors) attempt to staunch the hemorrhage of their own making it is both sadly just that the liberal enablers will reap what they have sown, and tragic that tens of millions of California’s will suffer the consequences of abuse of power.
Here’s the deal. California needs to use a meat clever not a scalpel on the budget. They won’t.
* The inevitable result will be a growing need for more and more money from taxpayers.
* Middle class Californians and small businesses that had resisted the obvious imperative WILL begin a migration to more friendly and reasonable states (Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, even Washington).
* California will suffer a reduction in the tax base when they most need it.
* California will become a marginalized state with two classes of citizens….the very rich, and the very poor.
* California will continue to require massive amounts of money and guess what? They won’t be able to extract it from the very poor so the Mandarin class will be expected to pick up the slack.
* NOTE: This Mandarin class is the very same enablers who allowed California to tax and spend the state into fiscal insolvency.
* HOWEVER, the very rich (in L.A., the Bay Area and San Diego) won’t subsidize the product of their own actions. Rather, they too will move their prime residence (tax address) to Lake Tahoe, Oregon or Mexico. They will continue to ‘live, work and play’ in California…they just won’t support the tax base.
Despite his abysmal job performance Governor Davis has the stones to include in his suggestions for the Legislature to restore the governor's power to make budget changes midyear without lawmakers' approval.
The budget process is just that…it is not an event….it IS a process. The January proposed budget will be followed by a “May Revised Budget”. Unless or until the legislature overcomes partisan dogma and makes the hard decisions you can anticipate things will get a lot worse in California and the consequences of Sacramento’s malfeasance will ripple across the country.
Just a FYI...........My understanding is that the Governor's man who designed CA's energy policies and is in charge of CA's energy commission is a former Nader accolyte.
