Personally I don't think the AW Ban will survive in it's current form. I believe it'll die on the vine. One reason I believe this is that such a death of that law will be played against GW even though he stated he would support it. It's a potential tool (in their little pea brains) for the socialist dems to hack away at the giant GW lead for 2004.

Also an interesting story in G&A this month on UN's attempted global gun grab. Seems incrementalism is their new plan. They understand the boil the frog slowly process it seems and are gonna regroup and try again.

Time to stomp their little skulls before they can reproduce IMO.

Stay Safe , Stay on em !!

LOL...I 've seen the world as have you. Do the UN plan to just waltz right into Somalia and grab all those neat East Bloc tools from the kat crazed technicals?...lol

...or Sierra Leone or Liberia from meth cranked 14 year olds?

or the Balkans where everyone hates everyone?

or from FARC or the AUC?

Should be interesting shouldn't it?

The UN took it up the arse with their balkins disarm plan. They took all the firearms in sevranica (spelling ??) or something like that and 7500 men and young boys were murdered thanks to the UN's gun free zone !

Alledgedly the article stated that 65% of the worlds privately owned weapons are in the US. They are gonna try and work the 35% angle first alledgedly.........:o)

Stay Safe !

Why doesn't the firearms industry simply adopt a policy of not selling to Blacks? Then the NAACP could sue them simultaneously for selling and for not selling to Blacks.

Now that is hilarious!!! I can only imagine the confusion that would be wrought!! LOL! You should email this to the NRA!!

I'm getting lost in the numbers here.

I've fired a few of the 229 and always thought it felt great in my hand. I'll keep my eye out for the others and try to get a chance to fire some.

Believe it or not, the above-described suit would be not be summarily tossed out on its ear. It is procedurally proper to make entirely contradictory claims in a suit, and it happens with some regularity.

I was wondering as well, after hearing a blurb about this this morning on FNC. It sounded like NAACP was suing gun makers for unfairly marketing guns to blacks (I use "blacks" because Larry Elder deems it much less offensive a term than COLORED, or African-American, when many [think Colin Powell], are not from Africa).

How exactly ARE guns marketed seeing I've never seen a commercial, billboard, heard a radio ad for them? Besides lots of hip-hop action movies where every black has a gun? And lots of whites too in those same movies. Is he basically saying, then, that blacks aren't smart enough to know not to shoot each other? Kind of like the standardized test complaints? I don't understand the basis at all for this suit. The crux is the suit names "criminals" several times, so is this the NAACP's only outlet in addressing that their community commits a higher percentage of violent crimes than other races? Even though they are a minority in the population?
