Two possible SARS cases reported in Palm Springs area today. One at JKF Memorial in Indio and the other at Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage. Both are pending results of tests sent to county state and CDC. It appears it takes quite a while to determine if the illness is SARS and in the mean time a lot of folks can become exposed.

Yes, this aspect is significant. How long are people contagious before SARs can be diagnosed, and how long do they remain contagious...
