Madonna is in trouble. Her American Life album drops from number 1 to about number 8 this week, selling a paltry 65,000 copies. That's down from 235,000 the first week.

Of course, the whole record business bottomed out last week, with the top 10 albums selling fewer than 750,000 copies. Rapper 50 Cent (search) regained first place, and two albums connected to American Idol did well enough to make the top five. Additionally, Cher (search) continues to astound with her greatest hits collection.

Heh heh heh... I have waited a long, long time for this day to come. First, her big movie, "Swept Away", tanks at the box office. And now, her uber-hyped album follows suit into the cutout bin. HAW! Madonner is now officially OLD and BUSTED!

I have never been a fan of Madonna, or Sean Penn, or Sarandon, or Robbins, or West Wing, or Martin Sheen, Michael Jackson, or Dixie Chicks, etc.... so I am not boycotting their movies and CDs.... I never went there! Bunch of over-rated morons! I have never been to a Madonna movie, I have never bought a Madonna CD. I was never able to see what it was that attracted fans.
