Not even a sniffle from you?
I've officially lost it. :-)

I was a mere Lurker during those early days. Finding FReeRepublic at that time was like the first time I heard RUSH in the late 80s. I was among FRiends...

I know someone who could learn from this example!

Where's the obligatory moose comment? 60 replies so far, and not one moose to be seen........

Phew. For a second there, I thought that we would have a series problem. Not to mention cheese would be a moose-steak.

I'm loathing of the fact that William Wallace would use the SHIP of Freerepublic to do a tail hook landing, like a photo- op while other posters give their all for this great site. It's WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
Sincerely,
Senator Byrd

Come on now... There must be something You've wanted to complain about. How about the coffee in the FR break room? There always seems to be half a cup left in the pot every time I log on. Why don't people know to make a fresh pot when they've taken the last full cup?!? And everytime there is coffee in the pot, it's DECAF!! WHO KEEPS MAKING THE *&#$^% DECAF?!? If I wanted decaf, I'd be drinking WATER!! And another thing: WILL THE "GOURMET" PLEASE STOP COOKING FISH IN THE MICROWAVE?? If you are going to cook fish in there, HOW ABOUT THE NON-EXPLODING VARIETY?!? I hate going into the break room to find a layer of dessicated fish flakes splattered over every square centimeter of the oven's interior. And what's with the newspapers all over the tables? IT'S AN ONLINE BREAK ROOM! WHY IS ANYONE READING PRINTED NEWSPAPERS IN AN ONLINE BREAKROOM?!?
AND TO MAKE IT WORSE, FISH-BOY IS ONE OF THE PAPER READERS. THE DESSICATED FISH FLAKES THAT DIDN'T STICK TO THE OVEN ARE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE PAPERS! BY THE END OF THE WEEK, THE ROOM SMELLS LIKE A CANNERY! IF YOU'RE GOING TO DETONATE A CODFISH IN THE MICROWAVE AND SCATTER ITS ASHES INTO THE PAPERS, COULD YOU PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER THE CEREMONY?!? NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN SMELLING ODORS FROM THE LATEST CULINARY/ORDNANCE EXPERIMENT AS THEY WAFT DOWN THE HALLWAY!!!!! But other than that, I don't have any complaints either.

The retraction never gets the same press as the allegation.

We had to use candles to be able to see the keyboard to type in those days.... Back and forth through blinding snow storms, for three miles, uphill both ways. Oh wait, that was something else. Nevermind.

The retraction never gets the same press as the allegation.Like that time you apologized for bombing the hobbit hole.... no one remembers that.
