This move will provide docs for other areas of the country. They will flee from the prospect of this plan as fast as the Canadian docs did in the 70's.

Yeah but... Kali has limits on pain & suffering awards that apparently have been effective so if the docs get screwed on this the number of places they can move without getting screwed on malpractice insurance is limited.

We were in the midst of considering opening a branch in California. I'm amazed any business is considering opening in CA, even without this healthcare stuff. The costs of electricity, worker's comp, taxes, and regulation in general are driving existing business out of the state or out of business entirely.

This is funny. LOL! Who's gonna pay for all this? DUMP DAVIS before it's too late!!!!!!

Betcha we won't see any Democratic senators standing in line with us at the 'free' clinics, eh? They'll likely be 'allowed' to keep their own private health care.Certainly these scumbags will keep themselves and their families out of whatever mess they create. They will never want for top flight health care. No, it is only the little people who will have to wait in line.

California is doomed. Any freepers want to hire a soon-to-be lawyer and help me flee?
I've been recommending Oregon to all who will listen. I'll bet they could use some more good lawyers! ;-)

Great commentary!!! "As the farmer hauled another load away... You could tell by the smell it wasn't hay!!!"
Is there something called compound truth, where like lies, it feeds on it'self and accelerates in an increasingly upward spiral?
Business AND Doctors will flee, with starving lowyers right on their tail!!! (parasites seeking to be re-united with their fleeing hosts)

Great! Just what we need. The state is already broke and now this.
Get ready for a 50% CA state income tax, and tripling of all other taxes from Real Estate to sales taxes.
We have to take California back from Democrats.

"even now, the costs of health care are inflated by people that use no common sense:"
I think one of the major problems of healthcare is the vast number of uninsured: some who could afford insurance, but prefer not to get it, then if something happens, they can't pay, so those who have insurance pick up the tab.
The other major problem is the vast number of illegal immigrants who also don't have health insurance, and again, those who do have insurance pick up the tab. That's the real reason you pay $10 for an aspirin in hospitals.
Each insured person is picking up the tab for 2-3 others without insurance.
PS. regarding your Mother's medications, she wasn't "killed by modern medicine", she was killed by stupid doctors.
To: FairOpinion
if you read my post, i did say "doctors that over prescribe".
i was being sarcastic.
do you honestly think that our medical system probems owe to only the people who don't buy insurance? how many women would put up without insurance. when they want to see a doctor, they go.
only those who can't afford, don't buy insurance.
finally, assuming your point that some people deliberately do not buy insurance but when they get sick, expect free assistance--it does not work that way. hospitals bill all people. if you don't have insurance and do own a house, and can't or won't pay, bye bye house!
so, only those who do not own property would be able to be scofflaws as you suggest.
