He was not in his flight suit when he gave his speach.
I believe he was in civilian clothes.

I do that a lot it seems. Don't know why. Must hit that Post block twice....so I can sympathize. Ha,ha.

You are correct. He came out of the plane in his flightsuit and mingled with the crew shaking hands and all that.
For the speech, he was in a professional suit all crisp and clean and walked across the deck to the podium looking very Presidential and delivered a wonderful speech to those present. It was great. He's the best isn't he?

John, I guess I'm just too damned sentimental, but your essay brought tears to these old eyes. I am struck by the great gap forming among the people due to generational loss of the real history of this great nation ... I would bet not ten in 100 High School graduates from a state other than Pennsylvania could tell you where Gettysburg is located or even what armies fought there or what era witnessed the battle. A liberal disease is rapidly mutating this nation into a mere shadow of the once great example of educated self governance we once were.

Considering the expense to the American taxpayer and use of American men and women as 'extras' for this media stunt, President George W. Bush should pledge that his USS Lincoln landing not appear in any 2004 Presidential Campaign Commercials and Videos.
I can see Carl Rove going for this.
He's got to be smiling everytime the rats bring it up, followed by a clip of the president walking across the flightdeck in a flightsuit.
PLEASE don't throw me in that briar patch!

He truely professional in all he did. It's strange when they say his cost was only $7 more per hour than the helo.
How may hours flight time did he save going in a jet instead?
