Carville: Sex Was Clinton's Top Priority
NewsMax.com ^ | 5/13/03 | Carl Limbacher and NewsMax.com Staff

Former White House consigliere James Carville inadvertently admitted on Sunday that while his former boss Bill Clinton served as president of the United States, his top priority was his own sex life.

Carville's comment was offered in the heat of an argument with his wife, Mary Matalin, over whether the Bush administration had lied about arrangements for the president's visit to the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln last week.

It went unnoticed until WABC Radio's Steve Malzberg reviewed the Carville quote for his Sunday overnight audience.

A transcript of the Clinton spinmeister's remarks, delivered just hours before on "Meet the Press," quoted him as saying that Republicans tend to lie about what's important to them - money. But for Clinton, his sex life was what he cared about most.

The exchange went like this:

CARVILLE: Of course they lie ...

MEET THE PRESS MODERATOR TIM RUSSERT: You may be in the freezer, Mr. Carville.

CARVILLE: Of course they - I mean, look, I can't help it, because the record is ...

MATALIN: Oh.

CARVILLE: President Clinton lied about the thing that mattered, you know, he cared about: his sex life. Republicans lie about the thing they care about the most: money. Money. [End of Exchange]

Listen to Steve Malzberg on WABC Radio, 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. EDT weeknights, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT on Sunday.

Mary also said something like to Carvile like "keep that up and you won't be having relations with this woman."

HIllary Clinton made $100,000 on a $1,000 investment.

Terry McAuliffe made $18,000,000 on a $100,000 investment.

Baghdad Bob learned how to keep a straight face by listening to the Rat party leadership.

Rats lie about what matters most to them, POWER. Sexual dominance can be seen as an expression of power. Put some ice on that if you don't believe me.

The official NBC News transcript confirms. The whole segment was hilarious, but since there are still people around here dumb enough to believe that the Washington Post owns NBC and go crying to Daddy everytime someone posts anything from msnbc.com, I'll just post a slightly expanded piece:

MR. RUSSERT: But why don’t the Democrats come forward and say, “Let’s block the tax cut. Let’s repeal the 2001 tax cut and let’s cut these programs and balance the budget in five years”?
MR. CARVILLE: Well, I don’t—you know, again, it may not be that you can balance the budget in five years. I mean, we have to be—we have to—that would put us in an unrealistic situation. But I think the Democratic presidential candidates—I’m very hopeful Senator Gephardt—I mean, Congressman Gephardt has put together an imaginative plan on health care. Senator Lieberman, the father of homeland security,
has put together an imaginative plan on energy independence. I suspect that other Democrats are going to come forward with imaginative plans on the economy and other things. So I’m very hopeful in terms of my party being able to address some of the big problems in America.
MR. RUSSERT: Mary Matalin, your husband, James Carville, has taken to sending letters on behalf of the Democratic National Committee. Here’s his latest missive to “Dear Fellow Democrat,” and I’ll show you on the screen. “These people are playing for keeps. If we give this Bush crew four more years in the White House to do their dirty work, we won’t recognize the America they’ve created. Worst of all, they lie.” Now, you know that’s authentic.
MS. MATALIN: Well, he is the resident national expert on lying presidents, but he just—I don’t get his mail, actually, and I’m quite sure he didn’t write it. And I hope that nowhere in that letter are the words “George Bush,” “Dick Cheney” and “liar” in the same sentence or, to paraphrase your president, you will not be having relations with this woman.
       MR. CARVILLE: Look, let me...
MS. MATALIN: Do not be calling them liars.
MR. CARVILLE: Let me say this.
       MR. RUSSERT: OK.
MR. CARVILLE: President Clinton and Democrats li...
MR. RUSSERT: Wait. Wait a minute. There’s an offer on the table. I’m going to read this letter very quickly right now.
MR. CARVILLE: Right. Well, of course they...
MR. RUSSERT: We may have a major...
MR. CARVILLE: Of course they lie...
MR. RUSSERT: You may be in the freezer, Mr. Carville.
MR. CARVILLE: Of course they—I mean, look, I can’t help it, because the record is...
       MS. MATALIN: Oh.
MR. CARVILLE: President Clinton lied about the thing that mattered, you know, he cared about: his sex life. Republicans lie about the thing they care about the most: money. Money.
       MS. MATALIN: What? What? What?
MR. CARVILLE: They lie about money every day.
MS. MATALIN: Give me a lie.
MR. CARVILLE: All right: that we’ll be able to have this tax cut and balance the budget at the same time; that the ship was too far off to go get it...
       MS. MATALIN: Oh, jeez.
MR. CARVILLE: ...that they knew the code name of Air Force One, OK?
       MS. MATALIN: Oh!
MR. CARVILLE: I mean, how much do we want to go—that Iraq had an advanced nuclear weapons program. I mean, how many do you want me to get? That the energy bill was conservation sensitive. I mean, we could go on and on and on. But it’s not...
MS. MATALIN: Did you read the energy package?
MR. CARVILLE: Sure. And how many...
MS. MATALIN: You did not read any of the 105 recommendations.
MR. CARVILLE: A hundred and five. There was...
MS. MATALIN: You had no access to the intelligence.
       MR. CARVILLE: The...
MS. MATALIN: You were not there on 9/11...
       MR. CARVILLE: Well, I can’t—right.
MS. MATALIN: ...in the PI room when we had that incoming report...
       MR. CARVILLE: Right. Right. OK.
MS. MATALIN: ...that Air Force One was targeted.
MR. CARVILLE: And that we all have a deficit.
MS. MATALIN: And what is this Ari? I don’t know exactly what he said, but the fault was far enough...
MR. CARVILLE: Well, he said it was too far...
MS. MATALIN: Are you going to run...
MR. CARVILLE: ...and it would ditch them, and the Navy didn’t know where the ship was.
MS. MATALIN: Excuse me. You’re going to run...
       MR. CARVILLE: Yeah.
MS. MATALIN: ...the entire presidential election on where the ship was? This is nonsense.
MR. CARVILLE: No, we’re going to run it—no, we’re going to run it on lost jobs, lost opportunity, lost health care. We’re going to run it on the fact that America—that this administration has taken this country at about every juncture and made it a worse country than it was when they took over. That’s what we’re going to run this election on. And we’re going to run this election on big ideas: ideas like health care, ideas like energy independence, ideas about restimulating this economy. And I guarantee you, Mr. Russert, this is going to be one interesting election, and I look forward to it.

Let's be honest. Liberals care about sex AND money. Have as much sex with as many people as possible with no moral consequences and take as much money from taxpayers and wealth producers as possible and redistribute it to those who can waste it the fastest...themselves included of course, first and foremost. Don't hold your breath waiting for Bill and Hillary to donate half of their respective multi-million dollar book deals to the homeless.

Carville is even lying in this exchange (note the bait and switch):

MR. CARVILLE: President Clinton and Democrats li...
MR. RUSSERT: Wait. Wait a minute. There’s an offer on the table. I’m going to read this letter very quickly right now.
MR. CARVILLE: Right. Well, of course they...

Money.

Okay. So President Clinton lied (under oath and on camera to the American people and attacked his critics) because he wanted sex. I can believe that sex mattered most to Bill Clinton. He's a sex addict and dangerous because of his addiction. He kept foreign dignitaries waiting while he was orally serviced. He deployed American troops while he was orally serviced; all of the "anti(Bush)war" protestors who defended Clinton because "it was just sex" obviously were just following marching orders. How can they defend a man who put American lives at stake WHILE he was being gratified and then say that President Bush it putting American troops into a dangerous situation (less than 200 of the "expected" 10,000s were killed).

So as I say, I understand that illicit sex is important to Bubba Clinton. Clinton's sex life shouldn't be that important to the DemocRats. So why did THEY lie? POWER. Carville explains that the "Republicans" all want money (but as I've shown, the top Rats also exploit that dollar using sweetheart deals). So why is it James, that the DemocRats lie?

Bill Russert kept interrupting in the above exchange. I contend it is because they are evil and want power. They can't get it by honest means (when their ideas are open to scrutiny) so they lie.

I would counter that while I find the liberal movement to be EVIL, that libs would find the conservative movement to be "mean" because it requires personal accountablity and recognizes that there will always be inequities in this world. But we are honest in stating our beliefs.
