You only posted two sources for your loads.

One was a complete lie. The Lee book doesn't have the listing that you claimed.

The other can't be checked because the TM isn't, how shall I say it, "readily available" for inspection.

If I said I did something, I have the photographs and Freeper eyewitnesses to support what I do.
If I say something is in a book, the book is readily available or can be checked with other sources. Just like the five books I gave you.
If someone has any question, who I am, I meet with the Freepers, if at all possible.

If I can help someone with shooting on this board, I provide as many links as possible.

ONCE AGAIN:

what are YOUR credentials/sources of knowledge???

why are you SOOOOO ANGRY?

do you realize you are acting like a spoiled child and/or a lunatic?? AND that knowledgeable people are LOL AT you??? (FYI, i've gotten four freepmails this weekend, which asked me why i'm bothering to answer you.)

i've said at least TWICE on the thread that:

a. i was NOT looking at Lee's 2d edition (and working form memory!) and

b.that the Training Circuliar from Ft Benning's AMU was CORRECT in both number & content.

c. what ELSE but that do you WANT??? shall i prostrate myself at your feet? or scourge myself in public squares, crying "i'm SOOOO SOOORRY, i'm SOOOO SORRY, i was mistaken!!!

BTW, all four (4) of the people who freepmailed me this weekend are veterans/brothers-in-arms of "the great southeast asia wargames, 1964-75"; they KNOW of what they speak, rather than have just read a few books.

I did an experiment and typed in the TM numbers for the following manuals.

tm-10005-226-14
USMC sniping

tm9-1005-317-23&p
9MM pistol

I then became a little more fancy and typed in the FM's for an attack helicopter and combat engineering.

All of the FM's were on the first page of the search engine. I could type in anything I wanted and Google had the source.

Except for the very manual you mentioned. It doesn't exist.

To give you the benefit of the doubt, I need every letter on the cover of the manual you claim to have. The complete title, the TM number, the source and any illustrations.

I also need the page number of the load in question.

Or, as is commonly done on the internet, Link please.

If you're not able or willing to provide any of it, this conversation is closed.

well, as i'm sick to death of your obtuseness, self-righteousness and failing to read what i ACTUALLY wrote (as opposed to putting words in my mouth), let it be so.

TRAINING CIRCULIARS are NOT field manuals, tech manuals or anything else, for that matter. they are what they are: TRAINING CIRCULIARS!

if you had ANY knowledge of military procedures, publications & the like you would KNOW that. alas, you know ZILCH about anything you can't find on the worldwidewierd in a minute or less. PITY.

On your last post you were unable to provide the full title, full number, or the page number.

My conversations with you are done.

that's a GOOD THING as you evidently KNOW ZILCH, except some drivel you've looked up on the worldwidewierd.

i INTENTIONALLY didn't bother to go look up the information you wanted me to ONLY because i have :

a. better things to do with my time than to run errands for you &

b.i told you the TC number. (the title is ADVANCED MARKSMANSHIP INSTRUCTION FOR THE M-1 GARAND & M-14 RIFLES-Shooting Coaches Edition, published by the Army marksmanship Unit at the Infantery School 1968 and yearly thereafter, as needed.)

if your accesss to data on the worldwidewierd was all you seem to think it is, you could have found the document from the number alone.

SORRY, but people who know about military manuals are LAUGHING AT you.

AND you've never yet told me what YOUR credentials are to question ANYTHING any real military veteran and/or police officer knows, w/o consulting the internet.

do you have anything to tell us about YOUR expertise in firearms, if any????

Archy, I wrote to the Army Marksmanship Unit and they steered me to the CMP.

Here's the e mail from them:

"Sir,

That particular article is no longer in print nor has one been seen for in decades. If you are interested in advance high power marksmanship go to the CMP site http://www.odcmp.com/Programs/publications.htm there you will find the latest marksmanship guides that we have written and the CMP has funded the publishing of. Due to budget constraints we can no longer afford to print and distribute those marksmanship manuals.
thank you"

One piece of Data was a lie and the other was from an obscure Manual just like I said. Given the data from the three reloading manuals and the two "Cartridges of the World", I feel it's safe to say he also lied about the TC data.
