Pretty cheap at the price if it's not completely falling apart.
Of course, there's maintenance costs, crew, upgrades of electronics and other equipment, fuel, docking, etc....but still.
If nothing else, you could use it for ASW or amphibious assult support work. Or as a training ship.

Does it come with Letters of Marque and Reprisal.

I'll have to forward this to Rush later. I'm sure 4.5 mill is peanuts to him. The EIB Navy.

Are you sure the pictures are of that ship? I don't think slanted (to the side) decks were built until the atomic powered carriers.

Be careful kids, or you'll put your eye out with that thing!

Is there more than 4.5 million worth of scrap metal in that thing?

Plenty of room to install a 15,000 sq. ft. Owner's Suite on the hanger deck.
Think they could install a tailhook on a Gulfstream V?

Aircraft Carrier For Sale: A Perfect Father's Day Gift!
Reminds me of the joke I heard about the report on the Kentucky Downs and Belmont winner,
gelding "Funny Cide"
Since Funny Cide won those two races and since "he" is a gelding, stud fees and
appointments for his father (who is NOT a gelding) are rocketing upward.
And all I'm getting for my Dad is a tie!?
(sorry, I can't remember if this was from Leno, Argus Hamilton, or other commentator/comic...)
