This is a misuse of the legal system by a corrupt lawyer. This is an obvious illigitimate case. Babs hopes to bankrupt the popular little public service not-for-profit environmentalist website (one of the rare good guys it seems) by causing massive legal fees to defend itself.

In most of the rest of the civilized world, there is "Loser Pays," where Babs would pay for the legal costs of the little website once she loses, as she inevitably will.

Loser Pays (with exceptions of course) would be a part of the vast number of reforms needed to bring justice to the evil shyster industry.

Maybe she should also sue her Democratic Governor, who has used taxpayer money to post aerial photos of the entire state on the UC Davis website. How about the private satellite companies who sell high resolution photos of any area on earth you would want.
