...the rings being spoken of as though Laci was not wearing them when she disappeared? Did she not wear them ALL THE TIME? Or is it that were they still on her fingers when her body was recovered?

That is the million dollar question isn't it? My thinking is that she had no hands when body was recovered, so just how did Scaughty come by these? This is another reason that Geragos and the Peterson's are just STUPID with trying to sway public opionion, because it always has come back to bite them in the butt.

When my wife was preggers, both times she could not wear her rings because her fingers got fat...

I mean, they make maternity clothes for a reason - when people are pregnant, they gain weight. One could logically conclude that their fingers might ALSO get bigger...

but that's too easy - It's more likely that she was pregnant, but kept the same ring size and Scott cut off her hands when he killed her and took the rings...
