But...but... Sharon promised to build bridges and tunnels so the Palestinians could pass over and under without having to go 200 miles around each Israei settlement "finger" of land.

That's reasonable, isn't it? And generous, too, assuming he doesn't charge a toll.

The "bridge and tunnel" approach is sensible....between Gaza and the West Bank. I expect this right of way to be exchanged for most of Jerusalem and the "settlement suburbs" to the north and south.

This has always been about two things...terroist thugs and occupied land.

How the land can be occupied if they live under their own full-fledged government which only lacks their own currency?
Spare me the "IDF presence" - if there'd be no terrorist acts no IDF presense would be either.

The arguments to date always get sidetracked by the old question of 'Which came first? The chicken or the egg?" Which was then followed by someone wanting to know who was going to be the chicken and who was going to be the egg.

Go back to partition plan and find them.

What is new about this, veronica, is that President Bush has no patience with such nonsense and now, it does not matter.

And what is old about this is that Bush's EU/UN and Saudi bankers demanded a payback in jews again and lost the patience with his "war on terror" nonsense.

Terror must stop. Occupation must end.
If Hamas, Hezbolah and all of Arafat's other little toys don't clean up their act then there will be nothing but dust and ashes in what could have been a Palestinian nation.

If Hamas, Hezbolah and all of Arafat's other little toys... Nothing like meeting another clueless...

That is what is new. President Bush has told the parties that if they don't settle their problem with his help then he won't help Arafat when Sharon blows him to hell.

Nothing like meeting another convincingly clueless chest-thumper...
Oh, momma! Is it Bush's electorate?

Baloney. The Arabs attacked Israel BEFORE the '67 war.

What it's about is an inability of the Arabs to accept Israel, a profound jealousy on their part due to Israel's successes in many areas, Islamofascism which permeates Muslim cultures, and the resulting terrorism.

And the proof can be found in the Black September movement, wherein Arafat and his goons tried to do in Jordan what they have done during intifadas in Israel. That Arafat has not long ago been banished is intself a scandal. That Abu Mazen, a Holocaust denier and possibly the money man behind the Olympic massacre in Munich is now the "respected" leader of the Palestinian people is a joke. Guess that's the best they have to offer up though. They don't even have a Sadat.

I noticed presure was put on Abu Mazen to note in his statement that "we cannot ignore the suffering of the Jews during history" which I suppose he was made to say to mitigate his past comments on the Holocaust. How low the bar is placed when it comes to the "aspirations" of the Palestinian people. Even a Holocaust denier is given a platform.

1948...Israel and Palestine were to share TransJordan.
Arabs were not pleased and got whacked.
1956...Suez cock-up saw Israel on the wrong end of the stick.
1967...Israel pre-emptively destroys Arab dignity.
1973...Israel nearly gets a nasty pay back.
1937-2003...Thugs romp through the Palatinate including Begin and Arafat.

At various times throughout history...including biblical the 'holy land' has been a battle ground...no one has ever figured out how to share it like adults.

The thugs on all sides are on notice that they damn well better figure out how to both occupy the same contiguos space...
or no more props.

No baloney, veronica. Fact. Get out of the West Bank and Gaza. If the Palestinians can finally learn how to live like civilized humans, then swap ambassadors. If they can't smack Hamas and the others into line then the gloves are off and Israel won't need out permission to bury the bastards.

All this yada, yada aboout who did what to whom and how many corpses were involved in the Holocaust and whose God is the real God is just getting to be a pain.

Hmmmm. So you are a Holocaust denier too? If discussions about religion and or the Holocaust are a pain to you, get off line and watch TV, or do something else that does not require thinking. :)

Holocaust denier? Where the hell do you get that?

The Nazis exterminated millions of innocent humans simply because of their faith. We will never forget...but it does not excuse our self-righteous insistence that we justify arrogance.

As far as I am concerned there is no "but" after "we will never forget." You may speak for yourself.
