Armed Pilots. HR 4635 (Roll Call 288)
2002-07-10
The amendment would allow pilots to be armed in commercial aircraft as deputized federal officers to combat terrorism. ACU supported the amendment, which passed 250-175 on 10 July 2002.
ACU supported this bill.

Ah, but he voted against this bill. Now the question is did he vote against the bill because he didn't believe pilots should be armed or did he vote against the bill because he believed pilots shouldn't be armed as federal officials (government intrusion)?

And you're right, we will never see another Helms, and I don't even want to think about what you know who will get on this. Can they rank negative numbers?

I don't know why he voted against that but would like to.
Sue Myrick also voted against.

No, they don't give negatives (LOL) but note Eva Clayton (my former Congresscritter, replaced by Ballance).
She got a big fat GOOSE EGG in '01 and '02.

Plus, she came across as a total moron.
