The apparent lack of leadership in California’s Democratic Party is staggering and it is apparent that with four consecutive years of one-party rule that state Democrats have become drunk on power, very much in Soviet-style, handing out edict after edict to the detriment of California’s budget and taxpayers. Governor Davis and California Legislative Democrats have concluded that the tax structure in California is broken and needs to be fixed. The data refute this claim, showing that the California tax structure is generating much more than ample sources of revenue to fund government activities.
