Hillary travels with a small contingent of Secret Service but ALSO with a larger group of her own personal goon-thugs dressed LIKE Secret Service agents.

I wonder if they will rough up protesters, illegaly seize video cameras, etc

This is what her gestapo agents (NOT the Secret Service) do at NY parades, where she is roundly booed throughout the march, such as St Patricks Day Parades.

FREEP THIS LYING MONSTER!!!!

I see a good FReep opportunity for S. Cal FReepers. Perhaps lady FReepers should be wearing Juanita masks.

Scary to think that Hillary could have a double.

Well, I have a lot of difficulty telling her apart from Sharon Stone.

They will "get to say hello and shake hands with the Senator"--

As long as they wear the special gloves provided, and avert their eyes in her presence.

Security reasons my foot! She just doesn't want any potential evidence against her to leak out. I mean, suppose she were to go off on one of her infamous tirades when challenged by some evil FReeper with less than honorable intentions?

I hope that Baghdad Bob (aka Doctor Raoul) will be on hand to "promote" Hillary's fictional historical work. A good time should be had by all, (well, except Hillary of course) Hehehe....

"Hillary has a deepseated distaste for, and phobia of, the public at large. It's pretty clear that she simply cannot handle unscripted appearances and also avoids as much as she possibly can appearances in front of any groups except handpicked ones."

One of the hazards of being a pathological liar with an insatiable lust for power.

"The receiving line idea keeps the peons moving along with little chance of a "scene" being caused, in case a member of the VRWC gets in."

I vote for number one. They have a deep paranoia over those who can expose embarass them. I witnessed that at the FReep we did of XXX42 at a campaign event prior to the 2002 election. Although it was a public event for which people had tickets to attend, some were thrown out and threatened with arrest when it was discovered they were members of the evil Republican party. These people tolerate no dissension in their own ranks. They certainly can't risk having "the enemy" around.

Our D.C. contingent has had a fair amount of experience dealing with this snobbish hag and her goons. Still, I do hope y'all are prepared for such eventualities and have back-up cameras at the ready in case there should be any problems. Good luck. I am looking forward to the after-FReep report on this one!

"Mrs. Clinton is having difficulty keeping up with the expected demand for autographed books. "

she doesn't know if she's to "sign the books"; or the boxes that they are shipped in; one box signed = 48 books signed.
sorta like "sleazer of the house", jim wright's book, with all the blank pages...
as long as n.y. times keeps it #1 on their list...

no photography will be allowed at her 'book signing'.
Smart move. That way, nobody can compare the
air-brushed book cover to the real thing.

She doesn't want flashes going off in her face,
which is perfectly understandable.  And to allow
pictures without flash, well, if you knew how Hillary
looks under fluoruescent overhead lighting, you
wouldn't ask.  ;)

One reason she wants no cameras is because (this is my theory) the line of customers waiting to shake her hand will be the same people over and over, to make it look like everyone loves her. Part of the $8 million is being used to buy copies of her own book to make it a bestseller, and to insure that most of the people who attend the "booksignings" are loyal (paid) sycophants.

I think there will be a major backlash from even her staunchest supporters if she tries this.

Also, I am very doubtful that there will be a hand shaking receiving line.
