...Running against Clinton would have given Jackson "some gratification, some vengeance, but it was not the mature thing to do. It ultimately would have hurt (the Democrats), so I took the hit," he said.

Are you listening Al?

Let them hate, so long as they fear. I've amended my Suburban's rear window sticker to read:

HOLD LIBERALS ACCOUNTABLE

Let the guilty pay

If we are in control of the media there should be no excuse that Rush Limbaugh isn't hosting the nightly news with Jim Robinson each night. If we are in control of the media Ann Coulter should be managing editor of the NYT.

"Reversing the Right's Hold on the Media"

They are so wrong they turn around what we are doing. Reversing the Left's destruction of America.

What liberals can't have is a single popular media outlet that questions their view of reality and offers an alternative view. If just one station does this, the liberal spin machine is toast. This is simply and extension of why dictators always kill the opposion. They cannot tolerate any oppossing views, tyranny cannot rule in the sunshine.

They are in such panic mode that it is downright fun to watch the self-destruction. How can the left possibly believe that the country wants them to move further left? Must be true commies that believe the answer to communism is more communism. What is even more hilarious is that we are just warming up. Wait until we start organizing with goal of spotlighting and replacing their cronies entrenched in gooberment.

I think this shift happened because (a.) a lot of the folks I mentioned truly loved this country, and got turned off by the crowd that appeared in the '60s who hate this country;

You are right on this. My father worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 40 something years. He was a union man and a democrat. He even ran for a seat in the AZ legislature as a democrat. He switched in the late 60's when those scumbags came out from under their rocks.

re: "It's a machine, and it works"

The internet is the single greatest force for democracy in the world. The left fears it for the same reason the Chinese government fears it. It is out of their control, and as such is unacceptable.

People may rightly criticize the porn, fraud, etc. found online but sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

I guess you're right, Molly, you're not a liberal, you're a communist.

She's also a plagiarist.

"On most issues in the 2000 election, the nation was actually to the left of Al Gore," Alterman explained.

Guess that explains why he won so handily then.

Alterman is just full of used food. He can't discern honest bipartisan discourse from personal attacks. He seems to like the latter more than the former...

It's weird but back in the 70s when we were putting the first systems on the net we thought of it as a secure comm link in case of nuke attack. No one thought it would turn out the way it has, nor did anyone say that it would.

By the 80s we reconized email as the killer app to run your business by. The nix wars were in full swing and everyone had a network stack they were pushing. But TCP/IP soldiered on. Took them all out.

By the 90s it was the gui browser. Now the browser is king. I long for the simplicity of the text browser but the content has moved on.

Now it's steamrollering the libs carefully crafted propaganda machine. Who would have thunk it.

"Who would have thunk it?"

Marshall McCluhan had an inkling.

He pointed out that a politician who was 'good' on radio might be 'bad' on television. Radio was 'hot'; television was 'cool', and the cool presenters of liberal thought have dominated the networks since their inception.

Similarly, the net as medium makes the televised vagueness and ambiguity of the liberals appear laughably ephemeral and dreamy.

It's a brave, new world. ;^)
