Inside Politics ^ | June 10, 2003 | Tucker Carlson

Posted on 06/10/2003 12:19:59 PM PDT by ewing

1.1 million copies total, after Simon and Schuster said they were printing 100,000 more copies after last nights supposed 'record' night at Barnes and Noble.

He probably wont have to actually eat his shoe on Inside Politics, Begala will probably buy him a cake in the shape of one..

I agree, no way after the first few days die down that she clears 1.1 million copies

I'm not sure what this would accomplish, unless Tucker wants to experience what a certain act with Hillary would be like...

Now if Hillay would have just printed this book on toilet paper and sold it for $0.10 a roll, she could have had the best seller of all time. And best of all, it would have wound up where it belonged.

The thing is Carlson would stand by his word, unlike the leftists (Garofolo, Alec ballless Baldwin) who talk loud and say nothing!

This from the Washington Post. See if you can spot the incorrect word:

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Sen Hillary Clinton's much-ballyhooed memoir, "Living History," is living up to the hype. The book set a Barnes & Noble (BKS: news, chart, profile) sales record for nonfiction books on its first day in the stores, the Associated Press reported, quoting sales figures released by the company. A Barnes & Noble spokeswoman wasn't immediately available for comment.

If you said nonfiction, you win!

That's probably true. Of course, she could always offer to pay at a discount, with the seller compensated in cement overshoes if he does not agree.

Besides, I would bet there are a lot of liberal idiot booksellers that would take a hit on revenue in order to see the Beast sell out.

What are you talking about? She wouldn't even pay for her own lunch. Look for unions and colleges to buy them up to foist on workers and students.

The Clintons never pay their bills out of their own pockets. Why pay when you have "anonymous donors" and "legal defense funds". She doesn't even pay her own mortgage in Chappaqua. The secret service pays rent equal to the mortgage on her mansion.

I posted this once before but will be kind to FC on a non evolution thread and post it again.

The advance was $8,000,000.

The retail is $28. If the publisher receives all $28/copy the break even is:

$8,000,000/28= 285714.28571428571428571428571429 copies.

A repeating decimal.

Wonder what the break even number is?

I'm guessing that all members of the NEA, AFSCME, Teamsters and various other unions have been "encouraged" to buy one or more copies of this utter waste of natural resources.

All they have to buy is the rest of the first printing. But yes, hundreds of thousands at $28 or $21 (street price) each. Hell, they built Las Vegas using only the Central States pension fund.
