Not long ago, someone posted an upcoming date for demonstrations including a national student demonstration in Iran. Is this the start or does anyone have access to the date from that posting?

I am told that July will be decisive. Any significant anniversaries or marches?

I have heard much about the protests scheduled for July 9th, but what was scheduled for next week?

Does anyone know of current news sources on today's demonstrations?

Or maybe the Iranian version of the 1956 Hungarian Revolt, or the 1991 Iraqi Shiite/Kurd rebellion?

Time will tell.

I doubt it. The regime's forces, mostly Arab, would be stupid to fire on the majority Persian Iranians. If they do, the regular Iranian military and even the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) will move to defend the people from the foreign mercenaries, a' la the Bastille.
