Anyone who knew whoever knows she would NOT like us to be maudlin at her passing. Remember, this is the lady who has told many of us that she longed to look upon the face of the Savior, so shes blissfully happy. Today, lets make it a point to remember her and the blessing she was to our lives. Lets remember her humor, her wisdom, her inspiration.
Do you remember when you first met her? I do. We met in a political chat room back in 99. We hit it off right away for many reasons but mostly because of our shared faith. For the next 3 years we were together every day via IM, chat rooms, phone calls. At the time I was 24/7 caregiver for my father, and who was the constant in my life that kept me sane (mostly). Over the next 3 years, we laughed, cried, prayed, fussed and dreamed. We took long cyber walks through scenic settings we found online. When Daddy finally passed in September 2001, she was an enormous help to me. I dont know what I would have done without her.
Would you believe that who almost missed FR? In the chat room where we met, there were a couple of disgruntled former FReepers (you know the type) who had her convinced that FR was the bane of the internet. At my urging, she checked out FR and found it to be delightful, so she registered and began posting on a limited basis. Then she got involved on the Canteen and later the Finest threads and was in her element. Boy, did she enjoy her time on FR!! She enjoyed learning HTML and then sharing what shed learned with others. She loved the prayer threads and was a faithful prayer warrior. Those of us who chatted with her in our chat room were a little jealous of her time on FR. Once she got involved on FR, we got less of her time. But we decided to be magnanimous and share her with yall! ;-)
I would like to thank all of you who made her time on FR so enjoyable. This was a woman who thought she might be online for 20-30 minutes a day when she first got her computer! She never dreamed of the treasures the internet would unfold for her.
whos greatest priority in life was serving the Lord. She was utterly grateful for what He did for her at Calvary and wanted the whole world to receive the grace that was extended to mankind as a result of His sacrifice. She even witnessed her faith to the hospice workers who attended her in her last days. From early on in our relationship, I knew that she couldnt wait to get to her heavenly home so she could look upon Jesus face for the first 100 years. It would be impossible to accurately remember who without extending to all an invitation to know the Lord in the power of His resurrection. For those of us who are His, this goodbye is only temporary. There will be a time of reunion in a place where there are no more goodbyes for all eternity.
To my friend, who: I love you, girlfriend! Thanks for the wonderful memories we stored up over our all-too-brief friendship. Thanks for making me laugh and cry and think. Thanks for being a solid rock when Daddy was so sick and when he finally passed. Thanks for loving my little Chelsey so much. Thanks for your unwavering faith in all the situations we faced. You will be sorely missed, my friend, but not for long. Soon and very soon, we will all be together again. Hallelujah!

From ST.LOUIE1
Whoever collected pigs, she loved kittens and puppy dogs, and she was always finding cute things (of which The Thin Man often 'borrowed!') to post on the threads. I've gathered some that she was particularly fond of and wanted to post them here as we remember our who. From her friends, these are some of her favorites: (The first one - the empty frame - she absolutely LOVED! It was her portrait.) :)

Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

ru, I'm so sorry I didn't get to send you a preview before I posted this today. I didn't have the time yesterday to finish it as I thought, and just finished it this morning. Our company was here much longer (one of them just leaving this morning), and I had a few minutes yesterday afternoon to get online, but my computer was acting really wierd and sluggish (like something else was going on inside my PC - kept getting the 'hourglass' icon, and noises like some other program running)

(((((Billie)))) - thank you for doing this. Whoever has been weighing heavily on my mind and heart this past weekend.
sweet whoever: you were one of the first people to welcome this newbie to FR. Your dry wit, poems, jokes and *kind words* will always be in my heart. Enjoy your special place with our Father. Perhaps you could put in a good word for all of us at FR.
I miss you, but I am glad that your journey is finally over. Rest in sweet peace in the midst of Our Lord's grace and love.

Thanks Billie, you have presented us with a lovely tribute to whoever. Love the whoever angel :-) I will always remember who's inspirational poems and her love for President Reagan. whoever taught me how to post graphics, was so very patient with all of my questions. who entered heaven exactly 7 years to the day that my dear Mom did, say hello to "Mickey" for me who. I had planned to post a different graphic, changed it at the last minute, in the spirit of celebrating whoever.
Rest In Peace my friend

Whoever was a joy to interact with here, sharing inspirationals daily she truly inspired one to be bold in their relationship with the Lord. She also had a keen sense of humor but always without harm to anyone. Who always had the appropriate reply for everything and enriched every thread she was on.
I had been in denial that this day would come knowing that the world couldn't really afford her loss. I do thank God though for the time that she spent here with us and feel consoled that she is now with Him.

Good morning, Dansy. Thank you for your sweet words. Who was an FR treasure to those who had the opportunity to get to know her here. We know she's up there smiling as she sees again her giggling elephant, her portrait, and all the sweet/funny gifs that her dear friend, wolfie, made for her, along with other favorites she loved to post.

I don't really know who as well as y'all had.
But I do remember when I first registered to post on Free Republic and for a while was a regular on the Canteen thread.
One of the others there that stood out to me was Whoever.
I saw she was funny and smart. and also a wnoderful person. I wished I could've gotten to know her better. but by the time I started to post on the Finest, her time posting seemed to be smaller and smaller. I miss her jokes and her sunny disposition.
But I know she is were she wants to be, with the Lord.
God blees you, who, for being here with us for a time.

There is so much I could say about our dear friend, who, I will try to keep it short.
Over the course of the past couple years, who and I exchanged greetings on threads and through private messages. It was in one of those latter message exhanges that who and I shared our testimonies of our faith in Jesus Christ.
who accepted Jesus as her personal Savior as a young woman answering an alter call in a Baptist church. From that first moment, who grew in her faith and walk with our Lord. She never faltered in that faith. Always ready and willing to give praises to God for His gift of Salvation.
Several months ago, who hinted on a thread that she wasn't feeling well. I sent her a FReepmail asking how I could pray for her. Her answer, "That His Will Be Done."
Some time after that, and many FReepmail messages later, we learned of who's battle with cancer.
It may sound strange to some, but who and I had a few "conversations" via mail about her terminal illness. We "talked" about how there would be mourning and sorrow, but at the same time Joy and Peace, knowing that she would soon be sitting at the feet of Jesus. Please allow me to interject who's own words from a few messages last fall...
"I need to tell you again and again how much your bold testimony, unashamedly proclaimed in Free Republic has meant to me. It has emboldened me to speak out to more and more these last months. I am finding folks seeking, willing to listen, and more than I ever imagined, born again and thanking God. Thanks for your influence in my life for Jesus, Diver."
"Carry on, Diver, continue to bring inspiration and encouragement to those God presents to you. The end is coming soon for all of us, and I KNOW the peace and joy in anticipating the meeting of Jesus Himself,,,,, to see His wonderful face, sit at His feet, listen to the angels sing 'The Messiah; -greeting those I have never met, but who have become so important in my life, just singing and praising Him. Oh what a day that will be!!!!!"
"God bless you, my brother, we shall meet at His feet and praise Him together." - whoever
I expressed the desire to be notified of any services held in who's honor and memory. Again, in her own words...
"There will be no services of any kind..... I never wanted any fuss made over my death and those things always seem to turn into tears and sadness. I want folks to sing and rejoice. Thank you for saying those things, though, Dave, I really appreciate that you would want to be there. If you want to do something and feel led of the Lord, please tell the folks at The Finest how much they meant to me and how I prayed that each one would know the peace and joy that I know."
"For now, Dave, I will say God bless you and keep you and watch over you, wrap His loving, protective arms around you, give you release from pain and disability as you serve Him and bless all your service for Him." -whoever
who is my Spiritual Warrior friend. She often prayed for all of us, that we could all have that same peace and joy that she cherished so much. ru presents in the opening a link to finding out about receiving Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. If anyone has any questions regarding God's gift and promise, please feel free to drop me a line. It would be my honor to serve Him in this capacity.

Like ru, I met Whoever in a chatroom too few short yrs ago. The "group" came together and some left, but those that stayed formed a very special bond. I am so proud to have been part of that group.
For years, Whoever wanted me to join FR and post. Well, for one reason or other I didn't. She teased me endlessly and of course it eventually became a "thing" between us. So after all those yrs, I did indeed join. I could not miss this celebration of my "bestest" pal.
God Bless you Whoever....You are loved! Your forever friend, ale
