Thanks so much. I really do appreciate that. I now have one question, -- and that concerns the fate of the K of Spades or "Chemical Ali" -- Early reports was that he was dead, then he survived. I thought they were still doing DNA analysis on the bomb blast. FL_engineer has him most definately dead. I must have missed that in other news sources. I thought he was still an "at large" figure. If anyone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, best I can tell his fate is still not known for sure.
I just looked and FL_engineer has this:
Believed DEAD
[one report early June said he was still alive
