and I'm forced to watch IRON CHEF!!!

Last night they did the "octopus battle", now fess up on the off chance that You would have to cook one of them isn't it good to know that first you must tenderize by pounding with a gaint dikon raddish and the marinade in sambuca liquor before grilling it:)

Lucky for both of us, my husband controls the kitchen and all things culinary.

thanks for the info... it's a great phrase... I used it now... of course, never within ear-shot of "she who must be obeyed".

As a joke, I once bought my wife a toaster for her birthday. I was leaving early that morning for a six-week military deployment, and had arranged to leave her real present (jewelry) with a friend of hers.

Her friend has had some fun tell the story of the sobbing phone call for many, many years...

And my wife has never complained about a present since!

My wife's BD is tomorrow and I was thinking of getting her a new Vacuum Cleaner

She might prefer a table saw or router.

I'm getting her a Palm Pilot and a house plant. Plus dinner out (The new McGriddle is pretty good)

Not wanting to start another discussion on the propensity of getting a golf ball though a water hose, but a McGriddle!

Actually, a Palm Pilot and a house plant are great ideas. I'm sure she'll be pleased. Say hello to Ronald for me.

Did you tell her the palm pilot was so she could keep better track of things she has to do for you? :)
