Well worth the read. A comprehensive picture of all the self-serving international components propping up a power-hungry regime that severely abuses its citizens. It is mind-boggling to me that ANY country/group/U.N. can spout empty justification for not only recognizing the mullahs as valid leadership, but working with them to help suck the lifeblood out of the people for some outside financial interest.

The media is the most responsible for this outrage, IMHO, something like this could never continue if "reputable" journalists reported events truthfully instead of serving their own ideology and career interests. The EU, U.N. and lefties in the State Dept can continue merrily on their way as long as CNN and the NYT deliberately ignore real human oppression.

You, you, with your depraved minds, you have suffocated us. You have reduced us to sub-humans. Iranians were respected for their culture and humanity. Today, the adjective of terrorist follows us. You have done this to us, you ignorant gang of Mullahs! We want to belong to the human race once again; we want to join the world again. You belong to the dark ages, we want to move forward; it is the twenty-first century!

You guys have to read this entire thing.

Agreed. The Empire of Liberalism will come tumbling down as soon as the leftist media is discredited and replaced by objective, freedom-loving journalists.

I like your tagline, too! :-)

The Europeans are useless and Bush is falling into the same mealy morass of moral ambiguity that the State Department seems incapable of getting out of.

What would you have Bush do? If the US goes in and frees Iran, it would stay a mess just like Iraq will. The US will be an even worse bully in the worlds eyes, and the islamic fundamentalist would see the government change as evil US meddling. For this country to have a chance of having a stable government in the furture, it must be done by the people of Iran. The people must themself throw off an islamic government not an outside mostly Christian force so that the fundamentalist know that their time is up. It will take the youth of Iran getting organised and to be willing to fight to the death if needed, not the US, to free themselves from the shackels of islam.

You tell us what you want us to do and we'll do it. We've been watching and praying and notifying every media outlet we can find. We're writing to our congressmen and to our president. We WANT you to be free.

We fear for you, but we know you have the courage continue. We weep for you when you're drug from the streets and imprisoned, we feel helpless, but not hopeless.

The Iranian people need to know that the American people are with them.

Instead of sending in our military, why not start airlifting M-16s to the students?

Bush understands what the end result needs to be but he's useing a hands-off strategy. It's unclear whether or not that's a good idea. But this letter definitely makes some sort of American intervention look like a better idea.

Almost three thousand years ago, while most of the world was barbaric, Cyrus the Great decreed the first Declaration of Human Rights. Today, the children of Iran have to go begging to a pathetic organization like the United Nations and its ineffective, sycophant Secretary-General for their most basic rights as a human being.

Before I finish reading, or see the replies, let me stop at this juncture to laugh my ass off at this passage.

Bwaaaahahaha! whoooo!

it will be interesting to see what chance, an unarmed student up-rising has against what it [???] at one time welcomed into the country with wild jubilation ... Admittedly, no students of today were involved or even born at the time of the Shah's departure.

How can you make any connection between the current students and those of 30+ years ago?

First thing he could do is throw the stupid, useless Road Map into the toilet and quit giving money to the terrorists (to rebuild their "security" forces) in the Palestinian/Hamas cabal; and quit supporting the Saudi Arabian ragheads who fund hamas and it's ilk.

Our hypocricy is suffocating.
