You must have some iron-pumping former Marine / Seal / SpecOps types out there somewhere who are on our side of the issues and might be willing to attend such affairs as the strong, silent type - don't you?I do this...not for a living but for "beer money" (beer the nights I'm not working that is). It's not a bad idea, but image is more important than actual "toughness". Image and the ability to stay calm until the clinton actually impacts the fan. Demonstrations are PR, more than anything else. Image is critical. Two can play that game, if they want to call it that way.
They play politics; we play politics. They write; we write. they call; we call. They get tough, we'd better be prepared to get tougher. They haul out the hardware and go tactical...
Lock and load.
You want an actual "security" squad, not an intimidation team like the lefties (and low class bars that inevitably devolve into punch palaces) do it. Think "Steve" on the Jerry Springer show or "Dalton" in Roadhouse.
Off duty cops (out of uniform but carrying badges*) would be best. In public places they are the only ones who can take sides, yet have the presumption of authority a "bouncer" has in a bar.
