What are you people afraid of? REAL men and REAL women don't get their panties in a wad because some man wants to use nice-smelling shampoo or whatever. Who cares if a guy likes poetry and a woman knows how to fix her car's engine? If you have a secure sense of your own sexuality, you won't be creeped out or afraid of someone whose actions and preferences are different from yours. Grow up.

The name Karru happens to be Estonian. There are plenty of Dicks, Harry's, Matt and others that do nothing with their lives. So why pick on someone because of their name, how high schoolish.

What they fail to mention is that most women hate metrosexual men.

The name Karru happens to be Estonian. Thank you for enlightening me. I've seen probably millions of names after two and a half decades in title insurance (when doing title searches, you come across MANY more than the names of the people who are in the chain of title on the property you're looking up), and I have never seen that name.
So why pick on someone because of their name, how high schoolish.
You're right, looking back on that, it did seem quite petty on my part. Of course, most people with fairly unusual names have an Americanized nickname that they generally go by (Kary would be an obvious one in this case) with friends and co-workers. I have seen people change their names from a more familiar one to an obscure one, or change a spelling from a common one to an obscure one as a "look at me" kind of thing, and that's what I think I was reacting to, rather than considering that this man might have had good and valid reasons to keep his birth name as his parents had intended to call him.
Good of you to call me out on it, and I accept your constructive criticism.

So why pick on someone because of their name, Because Karru sounds like a fag's name. You're on an American website. Funny sounding foreign names get poked at. Get over it.

By his own admission, 30-year-old Karru Martinson is not what you'd call a manly man. He uses a $40 face cream, wears Bruno Magli shoes and custom-tailored shirts. His hair is always just so, thanks to three brands of shampoo and the precise application of three hair grooming products: Textureline Smoothing Serum, got2b styling glue and Suave Rave hairspray.
