I am always totally amazed at the quality of our military men. A poet? In Special Forces? LOL, I just LOVE it.

Gives a whole new meaning to a poetry slam.

We can't be politically correct right or left in the war on terrorism. Period.Bump

At least 30 years. Three generations. In other words, we're going to need some liberals who have some balls. Bush isn't always going to be president. Now this is scary, they have none.

Col. Hunt makes me smile... so much enthusiasm and intelligence... a true American patriot.

Now read his book, 'They Just Don't Get it..' It will open your eyes and piss you off.
Let the military do their jobs! PC has no place in a war like this. Americans that clamor for us to return our troops home should have been across the street from the WTC as I was that day as I watched American bodies slam into the street after having made the decision that jumping was preferable to burning to death. Every American should read Col. Hunts' book.

I went to Norwich with Dave Hunt. I was a year behind him- he was the "scariest" person I had ever met to that point in my life(not a bad thing). He was one of the toughest, but fairest of the cadet cadre on 'The Hill"- from his position of Cadet Corporal, Cadet SGM to Cadet LTC.
All at Norwich learned from Dave Hunt. He was also a terrific hockey player- scaring the crap out of all the other teams.
Dave Hunt is to be respected for what he has done for this Country and or what he will do for this Country in the near future.

Thanks for your personal insight & for reminding me about this Col. Hunt thread. He is a unique, multifaceted man and a true patriot.
I was an English major but never encountered any "scary" ones quite like the Colonel.
