Remember that big firefight on the mystery convoy...

Look what jumped out at me on your link...

Produced 109 tonnes of uranium in 168 tonnes of yellowcake at Al Qaim uranium recovery plant, which was constructed between 1982-84

BTW ....CNN just said they were asked to sit on this story for one week.....now that attack on the convoy is making sense........we were after what was hidden in the 4 trucks we attacked not Saddam..

Why have libs been allowed to define WMD down to being only about nukes anyway.

Libs seem to think that a WMD means a missle sitting on a launch pad with a warhead atop it and already filled with a chemical, biological, or nuclear agent and ready to be lauched at a moments notice. Anything less than this "missle/warhead/chemical-biological-nuclear agent" combination in a ready to use to commit mass destruction finalized weapon format doesn't seem to qualify as a WMD as far as libs are concerned.

>>>How many centrifuges? You need about a square mile of centrifuges to reach militarily significant production levels. <<<

In the early 90's when the "weapons inspectors" were active before Saddam sent them packing, hundreds of centrifuges were found in several locations. I recall a number something like 600....anyone out there got better recall?

WMD Chemicals?

WMD Poison Gases?

Ever read the back of a Clorox container?

"DO NOT ADD AMMONIA - POISON GAS WILL RESULT"

(paraphrased)

The common, simple chemical components of many poisonous gases and explosives are found in your kitcken cabinet, under the kitchen sink, in bathroom cabinet, laundry room, near fireplace, and garage.

Clorox, bicarbonate of soda, charcoal, sugar, ammonia, common wood matches, salt, detergent, milk, fertilizer, eggs, gasoline, motor oil, automotive chassis grease, fireplace ashes and many other common products found around the world.

Many can be combined in simple mixtures in mere seconds; others take a few minutes or hours.

Instant WMDs.

Just add lots.

Repeat.

Don't bother to rinse.

had led the intelligence officials to a barrel in a garden,

What an incompentent adminsitration we have. They should have looked in this barrel immediately after the war ended.

CNN/NBC etc, blah blah blah all say that "this is not the smoking gun the President needed..etc." What exactly would be considered a "smoking gun"? The actual freaking MUSHROOM CLOUD?

Just a side note: as I was watching Andrea Mitchell, she nearly choked on the following sentence: "these plans date back to the early '90's...." but she couldn't quite get out "DURING THE CLINTON YEARS". But she did say that (ROFLMAO) Saddam Hussein HAD violated the UN Resolution by not turning this stuff over to Hans Blix".

Is she joking?

And since when is the NEWS MEDIA the ones who decided what is and what isn't the proverbial smoking gun. As an American citizen, I consider this a SMOKING GUN. And since I am helping to PAY for this war, I get to say that. ;-)
