ROSEBUD

That really made me smile. I have the video and watch it every few months. It's a favorite.

I just picture invoices sending 15.......rose bushes....such a simple code. The Rose is Iraq's Official flower.

Documents?

Not looking good for the anti-war crowd.

It is also proof that while Saddam Hussein lied about having this stuff and that the UN knew about it, protected them and that Hans Blix was the cartoon character most of us thought he was.

If he wasn't supposed to have it, why was it buried in this man's rose garden?

Get a lick of sense in ya, will ya?

So how would you feel about 300 bags of castor beans in bags labeled "fertilizer" and a document (one among millions just discovered), dated 2001, entitled, "Document burial and U.N. activities in Iraq” which, according to MSNBC, "gave detailed instructions on how to hide materials and deceive U.N. weapons inspectors"?

Good catch. That is serious. Nobody's talking about it.

You'd think everyone would have learned from Watergate--when in doubt, shred it. Better yet, never write it down in the first place. :o)

Thankfully, the Iraqis were dumb.

Calpernia - when I asked if someone had "better recall" I didn't count on finding someone with perfect recall!!

Many thanks for the research. Than should suffice to shut a few liberal wagging tongues that maintain that Saddam never was interested in nukes.

Great work!

Don't forget that the head of the secret police has to give a long harangue to the plucky American agent, where he outlines his entire evil plan, before leaving the American alone in a death trap with a hidden flaw.

Thanks; but no perfect recall here. I use the Iraqi Watch databases that have been monitoring Iraq for years. It has access to ours plus foreign government files, UN files and all inspectors data.

I was going to say this sounds like an old story. Were any public satellite images of the convoys of trucks going into Syria and Lebanon with tons of WMD materials ever found?
