Chuck Hagel.... a true Imbecile at work
Vanity ^ | 6/25/2003 | Bob Eimiller

Posted on 06/25/2003 4:31:08 PM PDT by Bob Eimiller

I just watched a babbling idiot! I can't believe I'm posting a vanity statement but this guy Sen. Chuck Hagel Republican from Nebraska is incredibly stupid.

He sat there with Sen. iden Democrat from Delaware and agreed with every slam at the Bush policy in Iraq whether from the Lehrer moderator or Biden himself.

I firmly the liberal media have found their obliging "Republican" to attack the Bush administration and their decisions on Iraq.

I had heard this imbecile a few days ago and thought he was totally "off the wall" ...It was impossible to tell what the hell he was talking about when he would answer a question... ANY question.. it seems NPR saw the same "air head" I saw.

Expect more of this fool as the media poster boy Republican.

Hey Nebraska... DUMP THIS GUY! PLEASE!

As far as I'm concerned, Hagel is scum. He never misses an opportunity to slam the President and others in the administration. I suspect he wants to run for president in '04, but knows he hasn't got a snowball's chance. So he's setting himself up for '08 by "separating" himself from the current incumbent.

Hagel is a globalist scum bag that will, guaranteed, be a prominent GOPer in the primaries heading into the 2008 POTUS election.

And I'm sure we will all be expected to support him if he's nominated.

I have for years told my Nebraska friends that he was scum. My opinion is that he's a big One World Order nut, a guy who moved to Nebr from some Eastern area. He's got a sweet deal with the Omaha World Herald involving an voting election results company. I'm close at what I'm saying but need to check out more throughly. Bottom line - SCUM. And another cog in this "Two-Party Cartel".

He isn't just "scum" ... When he answeres a question he has to clarify the question by repeating it somewhat so he can think... then his answer becomes completely incoherent.

This man is a true mental midget.

He is home grown.

Hagel served in Vietnam with his brother Tom in 1968. They served side by side as infantry squad leaders with the U.S. Army's 9th Infantry Division. Hagel earned many military decorations and honors, including two Purple Hearts.

A fourth generation Nebraskan, Hagel was born in North Platte, Nebraska on October 4, 1946. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School, Columbus, Nebraska, the Brown Institute for Radio and Television, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Hagel and his wife, Lilibet, have two children, daughter Allyn, 12, and son Ziller, 10.

Just my observation after seeing this character in action... the last "air head" token Republic switched...and became a liberal----> Ariana Huffington... she never made any sense either and was the media "Republican darling" for debate.. Hagel is in the same category... This man is painfully DUMB!

He will get LOTS of Airtime.

I have yet to see anyone run who would be an improvement over Hagel, they're either 'more of the same' or worse than he is. I knew he was a flake when he sent me his yearly update and spewed the lie that 100,000 had been ethnically cleansed in Bosnia.

And when Solich fired a bunch of coaches last year, he should have looked in the mirror and fired one more.

WADR, I don't believe either one ever forget WHO the base is: they both know EXACTLY who the activists and movers are at the grass roots level and DESPISE us.

Both are RINOs that run the line enough to be viable in their home states but veer wild left to make a national presence - both are focused on winning the center and running from the center.

Not a single principle between them; it's ALL about POWER baby.

What you have to understand with Hagel is that he relishes the approbation of the establishment media (one female reporter wrote about having a crush on him). Every time Hagel attacks the Bush Administration, he gets a bone from the NY Times, the network news, etc. and he laps it up. He's a shell-shocked wimp that bends over every time the left-wing media asks him to. If Hagel doesn't have the backbone to stand up to the Left, he should relinquish his post and let someone else step up.

I understand your statement about the slug that he is... he enjoys lapping up the adulation of the left wing media, but...

it's his vacuous mind! The man has difficulty upstairs... he can't put two coherent sentences together and present a complete thought.

The man has the mental acumen of Sean Penn. The liberal media have their "Republican" ...They must be thrilled!

He's more than willing to contradict Bush policy... You can see it in the interviewers eyes.... he's so dumb he's a perfect stooge for their "Balanced" debate.

Yesterday, Katie Couric went into her "GOP doom" face during an interview with a U.S. rep in Iraq, and she announced, "even a Republican senator is now questioning the policy of this administration...." and I immediately thought to myself, " I'll bet it's that Hagel guy again..."

Sure enough, "Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska...."

Your half right. The other half is that he's bitter. He was supposed to be named VP on the ticket. Rove liked him alot. Dick Cheney interviewed him, and it looked all good.....until Dick Cheney named himself.

Hagel went ballistic, even worse, he bought up a bunch of Bush and Hagel domain names, and to this day still holds a grudge...scary, he almost became Vice President.

Not exactley, Bush liked Cheney, and Cheney was the one who ran the selection committee to find the VP canidate. Naming himself the best man for the job after doing all the interviews infuriated Karl Rove, Rove lost that battle and moved on. Tom Ridge was the next pick after Hagel.

There are some ethical questions about running a committee to find a guy, doing interviews, getting dirt, and then naming yourself best man, never the less, I like Dick Cheney and think he was the best man for the VP slot, though deep down I would have prefferred somone like Watts. Young, charasmatic, staunch conservative, and fiery debater.

Him and McCain are good friends due to both having served in Vietnam. Hagel is one of those people who is trying to be both independent, and yet also very conservative. Its a hard mix to be a conservative and stand out if your not in a big high profile leadership position.

He has pulled it off in the past, I remember when he came back from Kyoto summit, before (either gore or clinton, whichever one went) they did, he was back first, and the first thing he said, ahead of anybody was that the kyoto treaty was dead, and would never be ratified in congress. Things like that are good, things like bashing Bush are stupid, if your going to attack him, then come from his right, then you can still be independent and conservative, but you might not get as much air time with the liberal media.

I don't care which philosophical side of President Bush he comes from... in fact..I don't think you could tell if he was coming from the right... the man is so vacuous, he's impossible to to comprehend.. he will always agree with his Democrat opponent who will always be systematically and politically demonizing every administration decision or initiative.

When this man speaks... "bubbles" might as well be coming out of his mouth... that's about the equivalent value of his vacant babbling. Where is Lawrence Welk when you need him!!! (that's a joke flamers...)

Hagel is almost pathetic... I have heard more wisdom from the local drunk on a binge than this so called "public servant"!!?? Sheesh!!
