What will we read on the tombstone that rises over the grave of the Constitution we love? I suggest it might read something like this...

It took 100 years to happen, did you expect it to be corrected over night?

Tell me again how was this gonna work... Republicans were going to mobilize the latino voting block by bringing 'latino' concerns re: language & immigration front & center, and the democrats were gonna handle registering 'em?

Who on our side agreed to this plan?

I think "our side" needs to $hi*can this alleged two party system which we know to be both sides of the same socialistic coin and work on creating a REAL alternative.

You're right...but the Dems have more of a track record of being dishonest and it's a tough habit to break.

So I should vote for Bush because he's not AS dishonest as the Democrats? I won't argue that it's true, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement.

Those of us who still believe in honest government, and in the basic principles that have made America the greatest nation in the world, need to stand up and make ourselves heard, not just line up behind Bush, just because he's not as bad as the Democrats. That's just sad, and its not how democracy is supposed to work.

If the current administration continues to ignore the will of the REAL Right, then we need to put up our own candidate, a true conservative, to face Bush in the primaries. I'd like a real choice, not the lesser of two evils.

I don't see Bush mentioned in the article other than "the administration" and I would never presume to tell you who to vote for.

I was commenting on the two Democrat morons who are saying this is not amnesty...nothing more.

Mexicans, Central Americans, South Americans, and others are getting official, authentic backdated Birth Certificates from Puerto Rico thru the mails by paying bribes to get them. >>>>>

Yes, & if they don't want to wait for the mail, "Dateline" did an 'undercover' story showing how easy it was to buy an *authentic* CA birth certificate (on authentic paper) on the streets of LA. After viewing the tapes CA officials claimed they would put a stop to this immediately.

However, six months later, "Dateline" went to the same corner, dealt with the same guy, & bought the same BC on *authentic* paper......the only difference the second time, was the PRICE was higher.

When the 'undercover' asked the guy how he could get *authentic* paper for the BC's, he said, "easy, we have people on the inside".

These people are stealing citizenship -- and pretty soon they'll try to steal the whole country.

Yes, & it's BEEN going on for years.....read the other day about a mexican (having been here for years) decided to apply for citizenship, he was DENIED because he was ALREADY a US citizen. Seems his brother stole his BC & used it to become a citizen years ago. (brother has criminal record !!)

I also know that MANY children have been brought to the US by *mom & dad* (with phony mexican BC's), & many of them are nieces, nephews, cousins, etc........many of these 'family members' the legals bring to the USA have phony BC's, & are NOT immediate family.

"These people are stealing citizenship -- and pretty soon they'll try to steal the whole country." What do you mean "pretty soon?" They're already doing it!"

My fear is that if all of these amnesties prevail, open borders continues, favored nation status accorded to Mexico for unlimited immigration, acceptance of the Matricular Consular cards for all Mexicans and Central Americans also is allowed, cities across the country and Washington will eventually be unable to stop these people, and they will take over, and we will become Mexico.

I can't believe that our President and Congress can't see this as a distinct possibility.

Maybe we should just get ahead of the game and make the housefly our national bird.

Rep. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., and Rep. Ciro Rodriguez, D-Texas, are leading the citizenship drive

more like Rep. Bob Menendez, D-Guanajuato and Rep. Ciro Rodriguez, D-Michocan, judging by the people whose interests they are really protecting

R.I.P.

People should have opened their eyes when they saw the hundreds of thousands of our newer "citizens" rush to their Mexican Consulates to re-obtain their Mexican citizenship once they began offering it and dual citizenship. That spoke volumes of their true loyalty, and it was never to the USA. Dual citizenship needs to be eliminated and welfare needs to be eliminated. We're getting millions in only for the love of money who have no love of this country at all.

George W. Bush. If indeed he actually answers for the position of the Republican Party on this issue.

Maybe someone needs to point out to the Congressmen that Mexicans in particular have a track record of not voting for anyone but other Mexicans. That might cure them.

If "the administration" is doing something, Bush is ultimately responsible for it, whether he has direct involvement in it or not.

I'm just sick of the administration's two-faced stand on immigration.
