Let's not look with a critical eye at anybody's behavior.

Excuse me. What do you think you've been doing? You don't see how judgemental you are?

Condi has never shown political skills? As a conservative on one of the most liberal college campuses in the land standing up against affirmative action? Surely you jest.

re: her support, remember (this, from a former resident and native of NYC) that she waltzes into Chappaqua about 14 months before the 2000 senatorial campaign and - on the backs of the 8-1 RAT majority in New York coupled with Guliani's having to bow out for health concerns - won the seat for that state.

Basically, the RAT constituency in New York prostrate themselves before their "queen" - and I suspect that many other RAT serfs throughout the country will be more than willing to do the same when she runs.

Holy moly, 7x77, you get the small-mindedness award for the day hands down.

The person Ms. Rice was compared to in the article (Kissinger) didn't marry until he was well in his 50s and I believe has no children.

Are you just as suspicious of men who don't marry? Should unmarried men and women who reach, say, 35 or 40 visit ole 7x77 and get paired off? Good grief!

Given Ms. Rice's intellect and the preponderance of undereducated lightweights in the male African-American community (thanks to pitiful schools and affirmative, NOT racial inferiority), there's a real good chance that Mr. Right isn't out there for her.

I wish it weren't so, but Hillary can win if W falters.

Let's do the math of the electoral map:

As a frame of reference, start HERE. It's the Presidentelect.org map (a nonpartisan site) that projects Bush vs. Dean. It shows Bush up only 321 to 217. I know that sounds crazy, but when you look at the map, it's not hard to believe that Dean could with the states he's getting credit for.

- Assume Hillary has a lock on all of Dean's solid and leaning states (again, 217 votes).

- If she picks up the states that are only leaning towards Bush (53 votes), she has 270. That's a MAJORITY. I can see here winning each one if we forgot about Iraq like we did Gulf War I, the occupation goes badly, and the economy doesn't recover (or the press convinces us that the economy hasn't recovered).

Even on a "conservative" Web site like FR there is a big group of people that don't see anything suspicious about a person giving up family so they can work all the time.

Perhaps you have intimate knowledge of the fact that Ms. Rice has done this (i.e., turned down marriage proposals after long-term relationships, hasn't gone out on a date in 20+ years).

With all due respect, if you don't have the evidence, you can't show any of us that she actually GAVE UP family for work, can you?

Or should she just marry the next sperm donor she runs into?

Are you similarly suspicious of a hard-working married couple who has no kids? Who died and made you king?

William Howard Taft and Herbert Hoover had never held elective office before being elected President. Both had excellent pre-Presidential and post-Presidential careers (Taft was Chief Justice of the United States), but neither could be considered a recommendation for electing as President someone with no experience in elective office.

"...the big as a Mac truck fact that she has never been married or had kids."

Yes, this would definately hurt her. I also read somewhere that the Dems have a "pile of dirt" or some phrase like that on her. From how it was put and where I read it (and I'm sorry I don't really recall, if anyone is really desperately interested let me know and I can try and retrace my tracks, but it was a pretty gossipy source)I inferred the dirt is that she is gay.

not that there's anything wrong with that : )

Late 40's, never been married and no children -- come on!

Really? Can I spend it or drive it?

Are you just as suspicious of men who don't marry?

A never-been-married man running for President would have to have some sorry competition to get my vote.

Of course, why would you trust someone who is so niggardly that they wouldn't welcome children in their homes. Someone who thinks things will make their lives richer than children is immature. Who died and made you king?

Still waiting for evidence.....That's e-v-i-d-e-n-c-e. You utterly failed to address my posts (why am I not surprised).

And while we're on the subject, I guess you have the same beef about Ann Coulter. She's late 30s, and also never married. Or maybe Ann has a few years before she become suspect. Exactly when will she cross the line?

So the two best women on our side are "suspect." The better bet is that they have high standards. According to you, I guess the conservative movement would be better off without both of them.

Without evidence all you have is bigotry--yeah, that's right, your attitude is the textbook definition of it. And I'm not name-calling, merely identifying the obvious (unless of course, you have evidence, like turning down marriage proposals after long-term relationships, not dating for many years, etc.-still waiting......zzzzzzz).

So now ole King 7x77 goes after childless couples.

There are all kinds of perfectly understandable reasons why couples don't have kids, like marrying too old, impotence, hysterectomy, tyring to conceive and failing, a couple of miscarriages and giving up, having kids from a prior marriage, and many others. Do they all really owe King 7x77 an explanation of their reason(s) for not having kids before they run for political office?

Could they perhaps run for the Senate without a blessing from King 7x77? The House? Statewide office? County Clerk? Dogcatcher?

Another reminder: St. Peter, and not ole King 7x77, is at the pearly gates. So at least a few of us actually have a chance of getting in.

Women who say that Hillary did it all herself are wrong. Yes, she is the policies behind Bill Clinton, and she is the one who wears the pants in that relationship (such as it is) however, she had to use him as the front man because she was so unliked.

The handlers of the Clinton's are all aware of that fact. Hillary Clinton as a personality is a loser. Hillary Clinton as the wife of Bill Clinton is a winner to those who have been blinded by the artificial light that fraud of a husband of hers puts out.

Right; Walter Williams is a married guy. She could pick a non-black gentleman, however. If she decides that she wants to marry, she'll work it out!
