BEIJING, China -- Chinese authorities are investigating several apparent sightings of a legendary 'ape-like' beast at a nature reserve in the central Hubei province.
The mythical creature, suspected by locals to be a 'Bigfoot', was apparently seen by six people, including a journalist in the Shennongjia Nature reserve on Sunday afternoon, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The latest sighting described the creature as a grayish ape-like animal, the Xinhua report said, about 1.65-meters tall with shoulder length black hair.In a related story, Yoko Ono was visiting the Shennongjia Nature reserve on Sunday afternoon. Upon receiving the news of the sighting her bodygaurds immediately rushed her to safety.
No more sightings of the creature were made after Ms. Ono left the park.

Perhaps Steve Austin (The six million dollar man) could help locate his friend...."Big Foot"! Does anyone remember that episode of The Six Million Dollar Man, when he and Big Foot fought eachother? At the end of the show, it shows Steve Austin and Big Foot waving goodbye as if they both gained some sort of understanding about one another. LOL

I remember that episode. I used to watch the show all the time. I wish they'd bring it back on one of those retro channels like TV Land.
Wasn't bigfoot some kind of android robot built to protect some aliens that came to Earth. I think they were here for some minerals or something to save their home planet.
I thought it was a 2 part show.

If my Art Bell guest memories serve me, "Bigfoot" and "Yeti" are two distinct critters.
A "Yeti" foot has a little toe that sticks out at a 45 degree angle, reminiscent of rock apes.
"Bigfoot/Sasquatch" feet are similar to humanoids.
