$2 billion over 10 years to help companies develop cleaner-burning coal. WISE investment for a country known as the Saudi Arabia of coal.

Proposed economic stimulus package which could cost as much as $600 billion over 10 years. Of course this is mostly tax cuts which doesn't actually "COST" anything. It simply means the Govt takes less of OUR money and we get to spend it as we see fit.
Another great initiative by Bush.

What will these telemarketers ask their callers? Indian telemarketers will be raising money for Bush and the GOP, and to inform Americans about all the Republicans are doing to increase jobs in America and improve the economy. This story has already reported to be false ..

MM, this scenario is turning into a replay of 1999, when the same ilk turned their fangs from Bill Clinton to the GOP Senate and then to George W. Bush.
I can't wait until next February when we get the return of "True2GOP" and the rest of the faux McCaniacs.
It's the same people running the same scams.

Way to go Howlin. I very seldom listen to Rush anymore, but no way would he have said what TLB said he did!
Guess TLB doesn't recognize sarcasm either when he hears it.
Any bets if TLB apologizes for misquoting his hero, Rush? If I were Rush, I wouldn't want hero worshipers that cannot get his comments right and spins to fit his Agenda. Now who does that sound like -- misquotes someone and spins to fit their own agenda?

Bush has a bold job plan for India. The GOP Hires 75 Telephone Marketers in New Delhi Suburb to Raise Funds for the Republicans.
What will they be doing. Raising money for the Republican coffers, of course. In the January 31, 2003, article in a New Delhi business publication called the "Business Standard," HCL eServe, the business process outsourcing arm of the India based HCL Technologies, is utilized, "HCL eServe has put in place a team of 75 people to work on the project out of its call centres in Noida and Gurgaon . . . These operators are required to call up people in the US seeking their support for President George W Bush and a donation for the Republican cause."
Got proof or something that trumps this denial by the NRC......
"The Republican National Committee," UPI wrote, "through spokesman Kevin Sheridan, completely denies the allegation, telling UPI, 'Any report that the Republican National Committee has hired HCL eServe -- the firm mentioned in the original Business Standard article -- is a case of bad reporting, bad business practices or both. The RNC has no affiliation with HCL. Any inference to the contrary is flat out wrong. The RNC has informed both HCL and rediff.com of the inaccuracy of this report.'"

Rush did carry conservatism on his back for years. From the end of Reagan's second term until Newt Gingrich came along and led the GOP takover of Congress in 1994. I've always said, Rush is a political animal, but he's an entertainer before anything else.
If memory serves me right, Rush said he never met Reagan, but was sent a letter by the former President around 1991, where Reagan praised Rush for his staunch conservatism and basically handed over the mantle of conservative leadership to Limbaugh.
I've listened to Rush since 1990, but in recent years he's been getting a bit tiresome and boring. But there's no doubt that from Reagan, to Rush, to Gingrich and now to Sean Hannity, all four men have kept the conservative agenda front and center. Many GOP centrists and moderates don't like them at all, but its clear without all four pounding the conservative message, each in his own fashion, George W.Bush would never have been elected POTUS. You can take that to the bank.
It's a political evolution.

Thanks for the verbatim transcript. TLB's brief summary was accurate.
To: TLBSHOW
Well, TLB, it looks like Rush has lost 6 female listeners and one or two pantywaist males.
I'm sure he can live with that. LOL
