how convenient for Taft that this came out just one day after his new taxes went into effect.

If they announced this yesterday I'm sure riots would have been heard all around Ohio from all of us that spent half the day reprogramming the darn cash registers for the new tax.

"After going through what the state has gone through over the past two years, we believe strongly that we need to have a Rainy Day Fund,"

Problem with this rainy day fund - politicians can't keep their fingers out of them until it rains.

Hagan is a Democrat, but I believe a far more sincere and honest man than Taft. Yeah, I know that is sort of an oxymoron, but IMO Taft needs to get a job he knows how to do, and pay for his own entertainment and travel.

What you say about Hagen may very well be, but I could not agree with what he was proposing as a candidate. And, aside from that, eight years of Clinton taught me that in this day and age, never, ever trust a 'Rat.

I'd leave Ohio if my wife and I didn't have so much family here. This state is long on laws and short on freedoms.

I feel the same way as you. I'm tired of the RINOs like Taft who are in office. No CCW, a raise in the state sales tax, and the clueless liberal media (especially Northeast Ohio) just drives me up a wall sometimes.

Hoping the State Supreme Court will give us Vermont-style conceal carry, but I think it's a long shot.

Taft may be a bit less conservative that we would all like, but keep in mind the DemocRAT Minority Leader Chris Redfern

A pox on both of them.

This country needs a new political party sooooo bad!
