OK, let's see if I got this experiment right. They warm up the aquarium 1/5th degree per minute until the crab dies, then extrapolate from that what will happen if there's a 4 to 6 degree rise in 100 years? 5 minutes to go up a degree in the lab is the same as (at best) 16 years to go up a degree? And the number of crab generations in 16 years is...? And the likelyhood that a percentage of the little baby crabs that didn't grow to adulthood under current conditions were crabs that didn't like it because it was too COLD!!!!!!??????
This is like "discovering" that cyclamates caused cancer based on force feeding lab rats the equivelant of 1000 cans of soda per hour. You overdo oxygen in that kind of ratio and you're going to cause some nasty reaction, probably cancer. This is designer science. Decide what result you want then jury rig your experiment to produce that result. I betcha they got more goverment funding after publishing this.
