Jiddah, 7 July: Officials of Iran and Saudi Arabia here Sunday night [6 July] discussed issues of mutual interest, underscoring the need to strengthen bilateral ties in view of developments in this sensitive region.

The visiting Iranian Judiciary chief Mahmud Hashemi-Shahrudi, during a meeting here with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abd al-Aziz Al-Sa'ud, noted with satisfaction the growing trend in the countries' bilateral ties.

He said both Iran and Saudi Arabia, as leading countries and symbols of Islam in the region, had the obligation to present true Islam as taught by the Prophet Mohammad (S) [may God's peace and benedictions be upon him and his scions] against those who would dishonour it to achieve their objectives, promote the culture of Islam and strike common stances against the enemies.

Shahrudi also urged dialogues between the two sides' ulema as a way of confronting those who incite violence and terrorism and more cooperative efforts to neutralize the plots of enemies of Islam.

Crown Prince Abdullah, for his part, noted that Iran and Saudi Arabia share many Islamic goals and are both being targeted by the enemies of Islam. He welcomed the idea of promoting dialogues between the two countries' ulema and urged the two sides to start planning for these meetings.

"Those who would dishonor it"?

They are practicing true Islam!

Islam is a medieval murder cult. Period.

Interesting...

The bastards NEVER mentioned exactly WHOM they consider the "enemies of Islam?

Leaving us to GUESS -- is it the Islamists or Infidels they fear the most..

I am slowing coming to the conclusion that there can be no long term peace or accommodation with Islam -- as practiced today....

The overlap between Islam and the rest of the world, is in turmoil...with "infidels" the consistent target....
