I won $7 on a $1 ticket.

Now you can buy that vacation breakfast you've always dreamed about.

Naw, I thought I'd use it to put a down payment on that doublewide I've had my eye on. Or maybe get my mother-in-law some new teeth :-))

I'm not sure what a CCQ but if he was ranting about milk I'm betting the Q is quesadilla. Have sopapillas for desert, slathered in honey, it's a religious experience, trust me.

Sigh....sopapillas....I love them. And churros. And just about any Mexican food, even menudo (if you don't ask what's in it, it's good). I even make my own flour & corn tortillas--and salsa, of course. My hubby and I spent a few months camping through Mexico the year after we were married & we had a ball sampling a number of Mexican cuisines. Of course, my hubby ignored my warning about the habanero salsa in the Yucatan (a restaurant in Merida) and paid the price--he did turn lovely shades of red & sweated profusely, to my amusement.

But CCQ is Chile Con Queso. And it's good stuff, at least the way this place makes it. The restaurant is owned by a college classmate of mine who turned a degree in English into our city's premier Taco Baron. It's the American version of Mexican food, not authentic Mexican, but it's one of my favorite restaurants in town.

There's not many places around Tucson that do sopapillas, so it's a great find. I know a place in Alamogordo that gives them out free, the rest of the food is so-so but free sopapillas immediately makes it 4 star in my book. No menudo for me, scary looking stuff.

Yeah the first time on the habenero reel usually provides amusement for those around you.
