It is getting better. Check this out [Truthout trying to hide stealing a fraudulent article]

Posted on 07/09/2003 6:26:23 PM PDT by William McKinley

I am having a back and forth with Japan Today regarding their publishing of an article which appeared in Capitol Hill Blue that has subsequently been exposed to be false.

Japan Today did not get the article from Capitol Hill Blue though. They got it from Truthout.org, a leftist propaganda outfit.

I wanted to see if Truthout.org even had the story up on their site. I went to their main page, Truthout.org and checked. Nothing. I noticed a search box up at the top. So I took a phrase from the original article, sought significant quantities and hit search.

Bingo.

Here is what the resulting page looked like:

Notice that the third result is a match for Doug Thompson's article.

But wait, there's more.

I click on it- and what do I find? It now goes to a completely different article, from the Washington Post. In other words, they had it up, and they took it down to make it look like they didn't have it.

Unfortunately for them, their search engine's cache still has it. At least for the time being. Others should replicate what I have done here for verification. I am sure they will be 'fixing' this slip up hastily.

"And if you are really feeling feisty.....check out DU where Will Pitt is a huge contributor."

Let's be realistic, huge contributions to DU normally have a Lincoln on the bill.

The William Pitt info is interesting, but if I might play devil's advocate for a moment... isn't it a little too easy?

There's a dust-up going on yesterday and today with FR, CHB, and truthout. Marc Ash is covering tracks at truthout as fast as he can, and what does William Rivers Pitt do?

He registers at Capitol Hill Blue today, and completes the circle back to truthout on his personal profile?

I suppose he could be that stupid, but don't we have to allow for the possibility of another set-up?

I saw some of these same articles on "the information clearing house" website ( a Liberal friend told me about it). The information clearing house reads like an issue of Pravda from the early '80s. I don't put much stock in "truthout."

Pitt is a teacher from the Boston area. He was bragging on the lunatic site that he was talking with Aaron Brown's producer and expected to be going on the air. I called the producer a few times and outed Pitt for what he was --- I used his words against him and had to invent nothing. He was the one who shoved his own head up his own you know what.

I sent an e-mail to Aaron and let him know the following:

- Pitt has put in writing (an would not take it back after challenged) that Reagan, through Ollie North, sent the bomb to the Middle East that killed our Marines in Beirut.

- I named the various Bush-hating sites on which he writes.

- He has put in writing that his goal in life is to destroy Bush politically.

- Amazingly, he put in writing, when asked the question, that he has not ever voted for John Kerry because he is in Ted Kennedy's district.

Here are some other gems from Pitt:

"In the most delicious irony of this campaign, Republican standard-bearer George W. Bush has imitated, with as much accuracy as his pea-brain can muster,"

"You wanted it, George. You wanted it so badly you allowed it to be stolen for you. You wanted it so badly that you allowed a new breed of Brownshirt thug to be unleashed upon our American soil,"

"You wanted it, George. Is it everything you expected? Are you bothered by the fact that a vast majority of Americans see you as a figurehead, jerked to and fro by Dick Cheney and Karl Rove? Are you hurt by the fact that most Americans consider you to be a sub-par intellect? Do you pray at night for Cheney's heart? Do your hands tremble at the thought of having to do the job all by yourself?"

"There was even a call by a writer from the National Review for Chelsea be killed because her last name is Clinton."

"You have failed. You are not a leader. The honor you purport to espouse and represent is yet another of your lies. You have awakened a slumbering beast, George. We rose up once and tore down Johnson. We rose up and tore down Nixon. We changed the face of this country with our righteous rage. For many years we slumbered, unsettled but still. Your coming has birthed us again.

We come for you, George. You wanted it so badly that you took it, and now you must face us. We are legion. There shall be a reckoning, George. Woe unto you because of it. As God is my witness, there shall be a reckoning."

John Ashcroft: American Fascist
by William Rivers Pitt, 12.07.01

"Short of Nixon's crew, no more criminal and murderous a mob has ever occupied the White House than those who came in under the Reagan/Bush flag."

"Besides, Bush has little to fear from anthrax. It only got close to him that one time because poisoned letters meant to assassinate Senate Democrats passed through the same post office as his personal correspondence. Whoever is sending the letters seems a political ally of Bush, considering the choice of targets thus far. This must make him feel even safer in his House. Still, it remains closed."

===============================

I suspect that Aaron saw him for what he was. Pitt then sent off e-mails to him trying to eviscerate him. A fun time was had by all, except Pitt.

I've got my own 'inside, unnamed sources' looking into this mess too - of course, having been rated an OS in the Navy my motto has always been 'In God We Trust, All Others we Track and report' so any info I find out will be checked, double-checked, and checked again.

I have the rubber gloves and flashlight ready...

Excellent work, Mr. McKinley

Can I add something to the mix?

At 3:08 today one of our returning trolls posted the article as it appeared on Japan Today.

The user also was kind enough to include a link to Stormfront.

The user has had many names here, and gets banned immediately because his ilk are not welcome here.

For what it is worth. AM
